 Daily Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (Thinking out loud)

Father thank you for all who create and share their time and talents to help other souls like myself get to know you better.   Thank you for the ability to read and write and as I am consuming your words digest it back out; be it pieces or full devotions and scripture you put in front of me and direct this mind maze to act.

May every soul who exists come to know who you are Jesus and even for a moment choose you to fully understand the impacts of what their life and the priceless value you have allowed us to be.    Fully understand and own the freedom of choices and will they execute every day given.

Prayerfully, may it all be with sound mind, sound body and your will, your heart, your sight, your kindness, Jesus.  And God’s abundant love, mercy, and grace!

As this day comes to pass, as another month has come and gone for September 2021.   May the beautiful colors of change bring new hope, new promise, and life in humanity itself although a giant sticky bun with lots of little ants and insects trying to steal away the sweetness.   May the colors of love fill your canvas in beautiful harmonies Jesus.

 

As the temperatures even for a brief second here in the south drop to allow us to know the cycle of all things goes full circle.   May we let go and truly let God renew our spirit, finding our purpose and we grow forward knowing our full worth with you!

May all your people burn bright for life as you intended Jesus.   I know that is a big dream, for me, and this universe.    Yet, you are knowing all things before they ever even come to be.  Well, you know all things and yes Jesus you can step in and mold and make and change as you will.

May your Potters Hands wash us clean and wake us up; allowing the world to see your glory here and now.      I think you have the worlds attention, yet so many of us are so lost in that word of Can’t.     Jesus show the world just how you really can, and we can as we are made in your image.

I know I cannot do it on my own and our world is a huge mess of stickiness where those insects are coming from all directions, robbing life, biting, hurting, making, and leaving so much hurt and anger.

Planning as a universe to grow into the future when we were never promised even today.  Jesus; please show us how to live even getting back to basics.   Show me that even in the loss of any moments of any day.   The blessing is I am still here with more opportunity to just keep fighting forward.

That for me, for everyone is not as easy as it sounds.    We/I are so tied in knots and broken when we lose what we build up and others take, or storms come, or we just didn’t pay attention and gave it away to find those really in need are doing with out because those who accepted were selfishly caught up.

Riddles of what is coming out of this mind maze, unplanned and uncharted waters.

I just know I have had some of that weight and heaviness of up and coming and you as always remind me today not to worry about the tomorrows.   But to take the time I am called to take and be, and do~

What that looks like over any next days.   Only time will tell what will be seen.

Looking about the world in our instant views. We see the lava flowing, bodies being recovered that were missing, searches on for the darkness to be revealed.    Storms once devastating what we thought was life.   Now giving us a sense of hopelessness for those who do not know you and weariness for those who do.

Jesus reveal your truth and purpose for humanities pain.    Show me your will, filling me with you and my hearts desires.

You know all things.  Nothing will ever change all going through your hands before we ever come to be.

Bring us full circle and back to church Jesus.   Teach us how to be more than what we do, do more that matters for others and not just our collective spirits.   Show us how to shine bright.

Your love beyond space and time the one and only true sweetest soul ever King of kings, Lord of Lords.   Beyond all things.  All wants, all needs. Where nothing is everything and everything is nothing.  Jesus teach us how to love others how you love us.

When, if, where is all up to the great awakening of our souls Lord.   Banish the darkness and wash through this world allowing us to keep fighting forward for all that is to be through you.  Give us strength, courage, and acknowledgement of all blessings every day we have been given.

Until I come back to here and now.   Be my balance, be in all who I am connected.  Show me what I am and am to be.    I will never be who I was~  The world will never be the same.  May this mind never stop feeding on your greatness, love and abundant undeserving mercy and grace.   May all I am connected be more like you and heal fully alive as you were and did three days after that sacrifice on the cross.

No doubt I cannot do this life on my own and it is far more than just having someone come stand by me to say you are not alone you got me…

There is something to be said about when you just fill the gap and have people near, so you don’t feel lonely or to be used or use up their time, talents and abilities to feed something you hunger.

We are / I am blessed with all I am allowed to do life with and all I am allow to share, speak, act upon.  Just as much if not more for those who have come into my life and fed my spirit with great messages of light and hope or just genuine  lessons for life.

Crazy how things happen in life and yes sometimes if I were talking luck, if I did not have bad luck, I would have none at all.  Which is awesome I believe in faith and life is what it is and not depend on the luck of the draw even if I sometimes hear it or say in conversations.

 

September has been crazy again here at the home front and I am frustrated and in bewilderment of what some of the lessons are other than learning how to become more independent and learning how to fix things.      Crazy stuff with my pull pump/filter pipes blew apart not once but twice and I learned  I need to replace my pool filter sooner than later; now that I even have such things in this mind.         Yesterday going to check my mail taking a stretch from work.   To find water in the end of my driveway.    Tracking where it came from led me to the actual county water main box.   So, I did what every homeowner would do and called the utilities company only to find out the leak was piping on my side of the blue wire 😊  And they could not do anything but shut the water off.

I am weary even though smiling about it today.    All the fun stuff that layers up day to day being blessed to be a steward of a home and shelter for others.  As well as day to day and all the other stuff I squeeze in to take my mind off of what I have no control but hold the heaviness sometimes way too much.

Reminded all things come into the light,  reminded nothing grows without rain and sometimes rain comes in storms. Reminded all learning may not feel joyful but is necessary in the process of God’s transforming power to come alive in you, in me.

There is always something to learn in every situation that occurs.  And for me just because I have been successfully walking with Jesus for a very long time now; it is not near long enough.   

The facts remain no matter what we are giving, taking, learning, or running in; Is it in God’s will or our own?

I won’t lie; I had that rush of overwhelming anxiety and sadness come over me thinking I had to get on the plumbing issue to have water turned back to my house.

Something I knew I could do; I just needed someone experienced to lead me in the exacts so I didn’t spin and waste time and money.   Yes, I could have called an emergency plumber and paid the emergency fees and costs.    But honestly as of late even those reputable companies have not been available or worthy to be paid with all the impacts of this Covid crises.

So, I posted questions, got information.   Went and purchased something to cut the broken pipes and take them to the store and first find all the pieces, put the model together in the store then come home and start working on it.   Never being alone, I was blessed to have one that I love like my own come by and help me really squeeze it all back together in the ground.

Which I am glad because some portions were very tight and even hard for a grown man to push together once in the ground.

Anyway, yeah it has been a tough unavoidable couple years since the Pandemic took over.  Not saying life has not had its rush of fools and breath-taking roller-coaster ride moments always.

But I wonder; has God got your attention yet?

Yeah, even though he has had mine I still am at times overwhelmed.    Needing, wanting, filled with inabilities, while fighting forward and crashing in the times that one more thing just came.

Then today I am allowed back up and see the beauty that grew from all the storms that passed by.  Or the like that butterfly once out of its darkness is so vibrant and beautiful.

I need God; and am not ashamed to openly admit it.    Even if I were surrounded by all the top guns in the world protecting and caring for me.   I still need God more than ever before.

It does not stop my moments of being upset, or cursing when I hurt myself, or crying when I get mad, or even quitting a billion times a day and crying out to him.   Just because I met Jesus one day right where I was.   I have to show up every single moment to do my best putting my best self all in.

I won’t deny thinking back on my youth and thinking I was in love and being wrapped up with my baby daddy and the fun, craziness and even fights we use to have.   How I miss some of those moments.   But those are only moments that if we are blessed, we have that special someone to always be.    Sometimes for only seconds to moments in time.   God is forever!

Doesn’t mean I won’t fall face down on the moments when life goes wrong, and I have no one to share the balance with help me understand by reminding every little thing will be alright.

Or being in those moments where I take what others do or say too personal, or even react and make it personal to someone else.

Doesn’t mean I don’t desire, sometimes burn like a kid with money in my pocket just unable to wait to spend it on anything unknown as long as we make it happen.

No matter if the world came to an end right here right now.   We need to roll with the punches, pick ourselves back up and be our best selves with or without the glam and glory of having what the world says is all together.

Again, never confuse my words meaning we do not get to live, love and experience love to the fullest, beauty beyond anything to compare and even laughter so hard we cry in share joy more often than any hurt.

But when we cannot turn the volume down on the spirits trying to take you down and out.  Turn the music up and make it clear darkens or any of Satan’s little gremlins in spirit or human form will never win against the God you call upon in the name of Jesus.

 

When it hurts.   Do your best to breathe through it.   Doesn’t mean it will go way; but you will learn the new way to keep moving.   Shine on and just keep smiling and keep them wondering.

Ask for help, talk about it with those you know even if they cannot do anything.  They hear you and will pray long and hard as you would for them.

 

Oh, have I not mentioned prayer in a while?   Sorry; like some of those things you just do and when it comes time to give directions you have to walk through it step by step to remember not everyone gets your assumptions.

Me I know I assume allot as I shake my head sometimes wondering how I would of, should of or even could of.   But its all good in the grand scheme of things and where I have been and where I am yet to go.   Pray is like a vitamin you need to take multiple times a day.    Just to talk to Jesus and vent to release all the hurts, habits, hang-ups, wants needs, and daily praise no matter what comes next.   And for me; music under the loud headset, from Marley to Mac to CCR, Ed Sheeran and around the world to just allow my soul to dance it out, praise it out, or even sing it loud and release all that shines bright as stars and moon are closer than we think as our spirits sour with the angels.

Anyway, that’s it for this mind maze dump; knowing I see all those detour signs and so many different things could start pouring out.   

What I can say is Release unto the one that gives you the abilities to even be.   Hold tight to trust, love and abundant anything coming from Christ alone.

Not 15 minutes of fame even if it’s a lifetime for us its 15 seconds in God’s timing.  Learn to hear, see, and do his will even in the little things.   Give all you are to him as he gave all he was as a man for us.  Those temporal moments of what triggers addiction to needing more will never be enough with out Jesus.  Darkness wants your entire being including your soul.  Do not let it win.

Seek forgiveness in those indiscretions we all get caught off guard and see we are there. Be true to yourself, be true to those you connect and never ever pretend to be in something you really are not.

For now, peace out.  

Pray Hard every day you are given.

Surround yourself with brothers and sisters and lovers of God through Jesus Christ

Live, laugh and love abundantly even when it hurts~

Hebrews 4:16   Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence.

John 8:44  “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire…When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

James 4:7-8 NKJV  Therefore submit to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.  Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purifiy your hearts

Learning to not voice or tap out what is on one’s mind when they have had disruptions and derailments in sleep, and positive thoughts can lead to just opening pandora’s box of anything negative can grow if we do not stop and control what goes in and out of our mindset.

Sunday night my bad; my smoke detector went off at almost 1am.    Within a matter of minutes my security company is calling to verify all  things are good; but whenever smoke alarms go off in the middle of the night, they automatically dispatch to our first responders.    Even within the time I confirmed all was okay and called the authorities back to confirm all is okay.   They already had fire rescue coming to check my home to make sure it really did not have something wrong.

I was somewhat dismissive in telling them they did not have to do that but within 5-7 minutes these young rescue rangers showed up at my door and did a look around to just confirm.

More embarrassed I did not remember to swap out batteries or even check them.   For this to happen.    Feeling badly, it was a false alarm.  But beyond grateful for the fire drill in my own personal life and how quickly even when in this case someone is getting paid to do it.  Which by the way I hope I do not get a bill for the false alarm…? You just never know in today’s world.

But grateful for the reminder when we prepare ourselves with all that is good, all that is pure all that is meaningful we overflow and are protected to grow forward.  When we get complacent on even the minuscule things like a couple of small batteries.  Or even let one minor thought transpire that is out of what can plant seeds of growth.   Anything can happen!

In this case a house fully disrupted, animals highly upset from the loud screams of an alarm; children uneasy and the inability to fall back into a restful sleep.

This mind maze although was at ease once realizing what I had done just would not turn off, which made for a weary day ahead and not in a place that I need to ramble on with would, of should of or absolutely pointing out all the flaws and potential emotional feelings that spin out of control at times.

Like that bottle of pop slightly shook when you open it least expecting the volcanic eruption once the seal is popped and sticky messy substance is all over to clean up.   Sometimes depending on where we are when the mess occurs, we miss some and the little, microscopic ants or pests find their way in agitating and trying to move in to take over.

Make no mistake in our here and now.  We have a triple threat daily.  The world, The flesh, The devil.

The world of wars is a spiritual war between and against the rules of the heavenly reigns.     

We know there is a power of evil we see it all around this world and all those little nooks and crannies that get overlooked or batteries that are forgotten to be changed.   Allow tremendous opportunity for darkness to seep in filling us with misfortune, mishaps, even disaster.  Robbing us from all that is good, all that is righteous, all that allows us to be sanctified and abundantly thrive and grow in love, in peace.

Look around

Temptation, Sin, Addictions are flying freely everywhere.    The battle is not for darkness anymore.   It has always been above us, beside us and more and more within us.   The devil is the master manipulator, father of all lies and so good at hiding in the miniscule.

In order to have one chance of any day holding on to all that is good and allowing love, mercy, grace that I do not deserve.   I must even for one second make Jesus my first, my go to, my bits and pieces.   Starting the day, ending the days.   Each one I am allowed back up.

Finding and filling up my being to shine even a flicker of light.   Takes putting on the armor of God every single day even if just one word at a time. 

I won’t dictate it to you; read for yourself. Armor of God- Ephesians 6:10-18 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)   For I am far from perfect in remembering this or doing it as I should. Yet there is the:

Helmet of Salvation -Ephesians 6:17

Shield of Faith Girdle (Belt) of Truth-Ephesians 6:14

Breastplate of Righteousness-Ephesians 6:14

Sword of the Spirit-Ephesians -6:17

Shoes of Peace-Ephesians -6:15   

Everyday we are given we wrestle with temptations, sins, addiction.  Not seeing even half the time the arrows shot in the spiritual darkness that bring us to stress, anxiety over those miniscule things leaving us even as children or those who have it all together to internally if we are luck freak out but most times everyone suffers at those who are very open and out of control with nothing good to hold on to.   All the while malice, false guilt, and all lack of and over abundance of negative consumes our very breaths taking us to places that rob us from the beauty of what the Garden was really intended.

 

I am no different.  No one is exempt:  “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers; against the rulers of the world; against spirit hosts of wickedness in high places.”  “One of the most fascinating and frightful truths of the Bible, is its teaching concerning the presence and power of the devil. And to make it even more frightful, the Bible says the devil has a great host of helpers, called demons. These evil spirits compose an entire kingdom of spirit-beings, that are governed and controlled by Satan himself.”  Everyone of us carry our own internal and mindful battles, beliefs, and day- to- day and what we do or do not do with it.   I am no theologian I say that over and over.  I am a work in progress with a huge heart that has been shredded so many times in life than I care to count.  I will let you do your own research and no not everything or everyone on the internet is true.  Just another example of all that can consume us that should not.   But do your research.   Ask questions and see what comes back.  Diving in this morning reading things such as  The Malice of Devils (biblehelpsinc.org)  after daily devotionals get my attention once again and pointing out Seven Life-Changing Habits “Day 271” of the Bible in one Year 2021 with Nicky Gumbel” and learning it all starts in what you allow in to feed your mind, feed your soul, just like feeding your body.

 

Sure, there are many times when I put too much thought into stuff that I should just let go.  Especially when it comes to people I either rubbed wrong or they took advantage and somehow managed to take pieces of me.   And no not physical attributes or material things.   But those deep-down heartfelt strings that are ripped out leaving your soul to bleed out when you want something so much more or better and genuinely want for the real them.   To only realize your enabling their bad spirits and they are good at hiding the truths of really not wanting anything good for their own growth; but just want what they want when they want it for the moment in time.  What does that make me;  LOL, yeah, an enabler with some strong motherly fix it agenda to love and nourish and help what each and every one of us need to own and fix ourselves.    We won’t go there today though… There is no big secret I stay surrounded by what I can control and help of my brothers and sisters in helping shine the light and grow in spirit otherwise alone I would be chewed up and spit out like old tobacco over and over again.

I guess even long before I started my walk with Jesus when I was told my heart is just too big.  I see the good in everyone.   It is true.  But it is even more dangerous and if not careful when we are like this.  And yes, I know there are far more then me that does this.   Men, women we are many.    And if we do not surround ourselves with the beauty and truth of God.   Like a fire eating dragon that consumes everything in its path.  So shall Satan and his demon army of all those consumed by the spirits of darkness consume us.

You do not have to be a biblical scholar to know there is light and darkness in the world; and just as there is evil there is abundant goodness waiting for you to call upon God through His son Jesus Christ to walk, talk, and live daily with.   Just being a good person and never doing wrong to anyone is not enough.    If not now facing the truth, when?    Tomorrow is never promised and yesterday is gone.

Get focused

Change those batteries

Don’t wait for someone to do a welfare check on you

Don’t wait for someone to really start caring about you in actions, words, and deeds

Care for yourself now, care about your future; for any days you have here and now and through out eternity.     Don’t waste precious life without diving in, picking up your moral compass, learning and living the truth and surrounding yourself with all that help sow the seeds of Gods promise and beauty. 

No that does not mean go join the first church you see and end up in some cult that teaches all the false prophets and doctrine in their own version where you worship the leader and feed your children to them for their own gratifications or bunker down in a commune and procreate amongst the walls of darkness you just cannot see.    Crazy as it seems but the Jim Jones, David Koresh or even those so messed up like the Manson family.    The world is full of wanna be Hitlers.    We are living in a time that has always been in spiritual wars and good and evil filling us with ISIS and Taliban.    Fighting over who will rule and what is true and what is not and how humanity should be treated.     Dictating death of innocence when not using them for their own demonic plans.

 

We are all one step away from lost; but being lost is the only road to being found when we dive in and truly want God’s promise to fulfill our lives.      We just have to be aware and learn and leave the fear for God himself to take care of.   And that from experience is a fine line.    We always step off those docks unto uncharted waters as a baby not fearing a swimming pool for lack of knowledge.      Let us put on our life vests daily and know when we are swimming in the ocean full of blood sucking leaches and sharks.    God is, God was, and God will forever be what sustains us when we cling to all he is through Jesus.

To do so it takes more than devotions each day, more than showing up at church each week, more than cleaning the cracks and crevice’s over and over, more than changing the batteries.

It takes intentionality, dedication to self and life and obedience to want to pick up that moral compass and do what is right, in love, in grace and giving back that abundant mercy we get every day even when we do not deserve it.

Just because we are good filled with great intentions for all we connect.  Means nothing.  We truly, madly, and purposefully need to fight forward and live it in and with Him daily.  That means reading, learning, listening, and sharing the gospel of Jesus without assumption but pure facts of those who have been trained up to help grow and grow you forward for the greater purpose of peace, love, and harmony with God.
