 Daily Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (Thinking out loud)

Thank you, Lord, for a life in a free country; despite what is or is not what we think it should be.  I live in a free country that allows us freedom of life, freedom of choice, freedom of speech. Where we get to choose how we will act or react to any given circumstance.

 

Thank you for allowing me life changing events on this day and the opportunity that I have been given to get back up again this morning.

 

Prayers be with all the countries ruled by dictatorship that are not allowed anything, especially the mention of your name.

We do not get to choose where we are born into; but we get to choose to be grateful for all we are given wherever we are.

No matter what our choices lead us into.  We are responsible to own and work towards planting the seeds of life for anyone that comes up behind us.    So, if we do not like things in our life if we do not like where we are or what we are doing.  Even in a non-free country.  We get the blessing of freedom of will and choice to change our hearts and change our minds.

 

Sometimes we have to cut those we love the most free to feel that deep joy down in our souls.  Feel it for more than five seconds or any amount of time.   But to feel it grow in faith and forward. 

If you do not know who God really is just know as long as you are given a new day to get up and exhale.   You still have the opportunity to meet his son Jesus right where you are.

Tap in to your no agenda believing friends.  Tap into podcasts, find a bible-based church and ask the questions. Read, listen, look find his beauty and creation in all things.

  Tap into music that grows harmony and moves you through the vibes of each day.    No we  do not need a church building to be a Christ follower but we absolutely become smarter, stronger and filled with more promise of life when we surround ourselves with the hands and feet of God when we come together to serve and give even the smallest abilities and talents for the growth of the kingdom of Christ.

I don’t ever want to lose the feeling of hope I have been given.   Even on my dark days and yes sometimes they come more often than not.

Be it health of anyone I am connected.

Lies from anyone I give all I am to trust.

Lack of respect.    Hurts you more than it hurts me.  Yet lack of trust from all we believed in that failed or fell apart with layers those walls up.

 

Jesus heal and break all the walls of love within you and all I am connected down forever.   Heal this land.  

May we want no more all that is temporal.

May we acknowledge in gratitude and paying I forward all the blessings just to be alive each day.

We need your love Jesus.   I need your everything.  Restore all that I am in this battle of wills and infinite spiritual war that you have already won so long ago.

Show us our purpose reflecting all you came, created, suffered, died, and came back to be.   Live within us and teach us gratitude in every nation every tribe.

 

We are all one in you Jesus.   May the madness stop, and we come together and be more like you.   May I be less like me.   Needing patience and new hope in humanity and reason why we do the things we do or even grasp tighter in courage with you!

 

Thank you for the lessons, blessings; show me Father what is it I should see and be part of.

But even if you don’t may, I never lose grip of your love that is deep within of me.

Build my Life Jesus and may I never forget all you have done and allowed to be graced in this journey I am given.

As I reminisce what I was doing this time so many years ago on this day and this holiday weekend. 

You gave me a beautiful 6-pound 13-ounce 21 inches baby boy who changed my world forever.   Bringing new meaning to reason for living and truly how to love.

Thank you, God, for always hearing my prayers to let me live long enough to see my children grow up; thank you for allowing me to see the beautiful soul and man he has become and the love that he reflects with those he is called and connected.

Blessed with two beautiful lives I was able to not perfectly do anything right but raise up the best I could.    I am blessed to celebrate the memories as well. 

 

Thank you then, thank you now.

 

I can only imagine as I was allowed to experience life and being a parent.  What you Jesus feel.  Through all the good and successes of your children clinging to you or even the darkness and loss that you know better than any being in this universe.

 

I pray maybe someday I too can stand next to you, and you can remind me of these mind maze conversations that come from the depths of me.

Blessed beyond all I deserve even during the bad or hard times.   You have always been and always will be.     

 

God knows the journeys we take on and off the path be it we follow or lead.  The judgement will come to those in the end we do not have to waste our time doing it now.

Yet, our human flesh makes it that we do.  Even when we are fully aware that we have just as many demons or broken pieces in our own being or own space.    We are so lost, yet we think we are so together and have the right to call everyone else’s faults out.  God knows and I can only imagine in love, in fear what you may even say to me the day we meet face to face.

 

I have so many missing broken pieces still.   Yet each day you have allowed me up to live the best I can with what I get to work with.   Sometimes I forget and chase wanting more, sometimes I carry on thinking what I have is never enough.   But all the time you bless me, and mornings like today remind me of the days I was truly blessed with reasons to live and changes even before I grasped on and met your son Jesus.

 

Yet you knew all this long before the beginning of time.   Just as you said I am worth something to come to this earth and you also allowed the children I was blessed through the fires of what the world can burn.      Yet here and now I can sing your praise and not even really know how to explain any of it.

Telling the story of a journey as you speak life into every single life, only those who really want more will hear your call.

Not sure when I learned to fear no more.   Or how or when You Jesus changed me and allow me to look up and find that strength to trust and keep one foot in front of the other.

Battle to live, battle of the mind, battle amongst everyone,  or no one.    Battles just to know we have meaning.    You Christ Jesus are the strength and anchor when the storms come to pass.

Thank you for believing in me and allowing me just seconds in time for all things.

Teach me what is and should be next.     May all that I am be something to feed even the lowest flicker of light of anyone I am connected.

 

Even in the messes, lost dreams, empty promises.     Light it up Jesus!   Light it up.

Woke up this morning after a restless night fighting for room on my bed with my beast of a dog that snuck in.  Crazy as it sounds with the song from Jeremy Camp “Same Power” playing in my head.    No, I have never been wrapped too tight.  As I chuckle at myself knowing how true that statement really is.

 

Somehow, someway even if I may not have confidence to battle anyone physically to prove its true as I do not have the theologian doctrine experience or the grit to fight to prove how you need to call upon Jesus in your life.

 

I know he is real; He is everything and the maker of all things.

In every storm, every battle Jesus is my truth.    Seeking harmony, far from being qualified but through every challenge he has carried me places I never could have on my own.

Unlike so many that have that great family foundation and surrounded by love or even those who were raised up in Christian faith and families.   

I had none of that.    Every single thing I have I have had to work to achieve, gain or if my purpose were to gain it to give it away.   I worked most times harder than smarter.

 

I am who I am as you are who you are.  Full of wrinkles and scars from choices of my own or being in the wrong place wrong time or believing too much in those I should have never given the time of day.

But God has created ever soul in his image.    Uniquely designed, full of self-choice and will to drive our selfish or selfish agenda on any given day.

In most cases we choose what is right in front of us not thinking about that wave of results and all that impacts when things flow in directions we could have never anticipated.

Where is the love?

Where is the love we seek, we have to give?    Have we allowed the world and all that is temporal to shut us down, or are we out playing with fire of unknown results, yet we know how wrong it is to step on the other side of the fences that do not belong to any of us to be or own?

God created us for so much more than controlling legalistic demands or even the misconception of Woodstock and all the peace love get high harmony so many sought out back in the day.

 

So many wrong decisions with me and everyone.  We are all broken people, and we all need the spirit of eternal goodness to drive us forward; helping us to grow.

Instead, we use our lack of abilities to leave us addicted in masking the unknown, pain, or just what we cannot figure out, so we try to bury what does not feel good because of our lack of control.  All the while we forget control is an illusion all the while we find ourselves stuck in the middle of rage, hate and demanding entitlements.

 

Maybe not even demanding.   Maybe we somehow think we are it and we play the game to see how far it will go playing out anyone or everyone along the way that we can.  And only when it fails, falls short or comes to light and we are held accountable we rage out to destroy everything someone else is all the while we forget why we are here in the first place.

 

Not necessarily to do anything.  But to shine and help others grow just by what we do not do for our own selfish ambitions. 

Yet that same power that raised Jesus from the grave breathed life into existence called you and me.

My crazy life of ups and downs, broken bones, broken hearts, broken minds wanting to just check out to proving everyone and anyone that repeated I would be nothing as I found myself so alone and far from knowing what life really was supposed to be.    And the realization that even though I prayed all my life to that big guy in the sky through so many things.    It was not until I think I watched the Passion of the Christ that I purposed to seek who or what was this Jesus all about.

 

Yes I walked forward and gave my life as a child in front of a room of strangers and got back on a bus and went home and no one ever knew but those that day.  Just as when I was called to walk forward in 1995.  Finally in 2005 I took that dip to say really show me who you are Jesus.

The hunger that followed and passion I could not get enough of and even today though I am the same but different.    I cannot tell you what exact moment it was that I was changed forever.

 

I still love on everyone I meet; no one is ever a stranger.  But thank you Jesus that I realized some places I am just not meant to be.     Just because you are doing, thinking or being does not mean I am.   

Guilt by association.     Be it you hang with them, run with them, plot, scheme or die with them.    Good bad or indifferent you will lose the freedoms in your choices, and will the good Lord gives us all if we do not think for ourselves.

 

Dare to be who Christ died do you could live to be.    Do not stifle or stuff down who you or your abilities are, because someone says so.

Yes, there are rules and regulations in this world.  A time and place for everything.   But do not stop living because of fear.   

Fear is a liar and faith is far bigger, brighter, and bolder than anything the devil whispers in your head.      Be your own person, think for yourself and if your choice is to come together with another; do not lose who you are.

 

Do not think because they may have fame, fortune, things that make you look good on the outside.    Never lose who you are and who you are meant to be from the inside out.    Big, small, a different shade of skin or the same.    We all bleed red and we are all children of the most high.      We are all made with purpose to pay it forward through the eyes of Jesus.

 

Just talk to Him to learn how, find your blessings to feel it and appreciate even the pain when it comes.     And will, sometimes over and over while you are being you.  Sometimes it hurts.  But Love who you are and invite Jesus in to be all you cannot on your own.

Think, learn, be and never stop growing forward.   Know that even though yesterday was the best day of your life if you are given tomorrow.   There is so much for you to say, be and do shining so others can be their best days.

Even if it’s just sitting there to listen or just sitting next to that person.  Or you have abundance to share with those who will truly appreciate and need it.   Not just those who want it because they know you will.

Plant the seeds of light, plant the seeds of hope, plant the seeds of comfort, plant the seeds of healing.    Even if we do not know how, or if we do not have anywhere to do so.    Start planting the garden of faith and hope within your own spirit.

 

Thank you for this new day and all that is or will be.    Guide me and Lord may I see no evil, speak no evil, and say no evil.    But when I am in that corner as I am no different than anyone of this world.   May we never forget we are made for so much more in love of you with you and for you!      In this giant sticky bun of life where everything we touch can get messy.    May the sweetness of your truth in love, mercy and grace pour out into the canvas that brings you ever lasting joy.

Help is not on the way.  You are standing, sitting right where we are just waiting for us to invite you in.   Give us, give me courage to keep getting back up and fighting forward.
