Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (Thinking out loud)
Keep waiting for that moment to catch my breath
as I spin around waiting for the love story to unfold like your favorite movie
and the camera pans in that infinite circle and all the forever after closes
out the story lines.
Deep under the headset painting another 34 foot of fence this morning.
Coming in pouring that glass of V8 with a flash
of days gone by missing one of my besties with that flash of that V8 going in
and wondering where the grey goose is.
Not sure
why, other than if we only knew then what we know now. Or perhaps I moved on and dove into my
career and trying to do better, be better.
And by the time they decided what really should have been consumed was
to feed the spirit.
Not the urges to numb whatever was painfully
tormenting our inner beings back then.
Maybe those thoughts because some how some way I know
this will be the year some of our longest moments and memories growing will
grow no more.
All those promises that forever hold us. Even if, even when they are not allowed to
really surface.
I know God is still our God, still my God! Never wasting even one moment to be all we
cannot.
Releasing
us from those wild caged animals into the glory and truth of what will always
be. His purpose, His mercy, His Grace!
All those whispers of those who never realized
you really did know what was going on.
Yet you still played their little game until the unfortunate weakness of
humanity consumed one of its own all before, they were able to really live
life.
Foolish games seeking this or that playing
amongst your own tribe, maybe not participating but watching knowing every
move. Never stopping, never seeking
what only God can now give. It does
not matter if the one you promised to or they promised to you steps out every
second of every moment playing with the demons.
It does not matter how lonely or broken you
feel. Nothing, or no one in this world
of this world can fix and change any of it.
Burning in your own creation, judge not that the
will of others or what you, yourself has allowed leaving shattered pieces along
the way.
Jesus the love of all our souls. Will be the one who breaks the cycle and
frees even if it takes us from here and now.
That endless rainbow as you come up out of the
water. That eternal promise that keeps
you alive when you just want to hide deep away for what you do, for what you
allowed to be done.
Forgiveness is the power of freedom. Your plight is between you and the
Lord. Nothing will change that no
matter what pose you circle up or tunes you sing.
God helps those who help themselves through his
son Jesus Christ. Worshipping on that J
train till the very end. Loving all
that was, all that is and all that will ever come to pass. Together even when apart; for the connections
are greater than anything we will ever deserve, understand or do right with.
For the son of man, blood of his blood flows
through all of us. He alone allows us
heaven here and now and as we fight to touch the sky seeking all that we think we
are made by; may we be face down letting our tears wash the feet of God and
keeping the foot of the cross watered for redemption is endless.
Change is now, Even when we flash back to moments
in little white communion dresses climbing trees with our friends getting in so
much trouble when we got back home; to the depths of friendship and love for
who someone really is inside out and not what they do, have or pretend to be because
the world says this is who you are now, and it owns you.
Freedom of choice, freedom of will does not make
the choices of what is written real. We
can all pretend to be anything we want.
We can pretend that maybe that really is or face off and know God will
never give us anything that is not free to be given.
We can and we may love and hurt and want and do
all sorts of crazy. But obediently
picking up that moral compass and being our best self-fighting forward even
when we just do not know how. Even though we know time is not promised. We love beyond words or deeds. We desire with a burn and passion that even a
volcanic eruption cannot touch the heights or depths of that within our souls.
Jesus fill all the stages of all we are not just
the center with truth, justice, and real love!
In the stillness forever still hoping and knowing
no matter what You Abba; Father God, Lord of all Lord. King of all Kings. You sent your prince of peace and the abundance
of perfect love for mankind. Yet,
still has so much to do, so much to learn.
So many more to shine the light for.
The bittersweet life stuck in the unknown of what
next like swimming in that giant sticky bun.
When life tastes so go, yet sometimes so bad but used to grow us forward.
No matter the battle, the war has already been
won by our creator of all heaven and earth.
Any thing we have, anything we are going through belongs to Christ
Jesus. He already took it at the cross. So why do we stay there in the misery and
pains.
Why when we look back at 2010 Easter cardboard testimonies; http://vimeo.com/10738728 why do we think we have to hold onto what was given away and gone and room made for new?
The battle of good and evil, light and darkness
will always be. What we allow to
consume our souls is what matters in the end.
And even if you choose to give up; the light always breaks through and
darkness is cast out.
So again, why do we give in to the darkness and
allow ourselves to be consumed forever and stuck in the abyss looking from the
outside in.
I wish I had answers for me, for my loved ones or
even where all this stuff comes from at times. I just know this world is just my journey
I have been allowed to travel through.
My connections and beautiful spirits I have been allowed to love will
always be.
The hurts, the habits and so many hang-ups I will
continue to give back to my God every day I am allowed back up. My tears and hope for others that hurt, and
I cannot fix will always be at the foot of the cross praying they too will
come.
Forgiveness, I will not be trapped in what deeds
others do. No matter if it is unfixable,
or just little lies. I know Jesus
will intervene and whatever His will with Father God will be.
No that does not mean I did not see the whispers that
I have no clue during that corn hole competition day. That does not mean I love or hate anyone any
less. It just means what is, what was,
what will forever be belongs to the Lord.
My prayers our children who are the children of
the future that need us so desperately need us for more than what we can buy
them; for more than what we can give them.
They need to know how to grow in love, what mercy
and grace means and who is really in control.
They need every adult here and now to lead by positive loving examples.
Yes, I am awake although its pretty funny and
hopeless in the world and how it spins this day.
But all that is good, all that is beautiful is
our freedom and choice of blessing if we decide to shine bright no matter what.
