Thank you, Jesus, for this new day.   No, I won’t be made useless, there is never a moment wasted when we put our efforts in.  So, what if?  What if the real you never transpires?  What if it is what it is and nothing more, nothing less?

 

In the end the race we run is the one we finish.  So, as we are down for the count dehydrated and starving for all we may never get.   Use the hands that are given to pray, call, cry out to the one that God sent before us; the one that we make famous through out eternity and not just fifteen minutes of fame the world allows.

Legends no they never die.  But what if the legend on the screen or stage was not the only prize worth fighting for.  What if we love ourselves deeper and for so much more than what can be bought?    

All the beauty and temporal pleasures are wonderful and fulfilling at times and even more times leaving us wishing and wanting.   But you Jesus give that something, that everything in all the times of nothing.

Religion, cults, chasing paper, chasing demons, or consumed by all of it.    There is more in the nothingness then surrounded by the emptiness of everything stocked, stacked, and waiting for someone to come steal whatever can be carried off without notice.

The grass is only greener on the other side of that fence because someone is working to keep it watered.     You do not have to get into the weeds to manage your own oasis.    

Love wide open is not the empty promises or the acknowledgement you are blessed for a season in life.  Every season change and every blessing changes; and is that beauty from the inside out or just the façade of all the colors you were given to create where you got caught up in what really never matters in the end.

Leaving that legacy to grow forward and be part of a future.  What history book do you think your todays will end up landing?      Are you making the world a better place or just so consumed in your little vessel given that it is all about the skin you are traveling within?

We in this 21^st century are so confused, changing who we want to be more than we change our underwear.   

 Angry and hateful over what we never really come to know; yet just jumping on that bandwagon to be part of the most popular ride.

Tired and worn out when it comes to trying to believe in others, when it was never supposed to be my job in the first place.     So hard to not want to really love others; especially when they have that lovable spirit drawing you in.   Forgetting the boundaries until you make it to the other side of who they really are and know you love them but all the broken pieces of their own will cut you deeper than any of what you have already done to yourself.

Keeper of my Soul Jesus the one and only worthy to be famous even when the land is desolate, and the desert oasis was just a confused façade from being out in the sun too long.

Magnify your son Jesus in all I am connected, every path I walk, every door I open.   May you shine brighter than all that glitters.  Magnify your will, your love, your hope deep within all I am as all that bold, bright empty promises of the world will be.

You alone have taught me to love myself, giving me life when I had none.     

 

For all the prayers you have answered.  Thank you, Jesus!   

For all the prayers you said no or not yet; Thank you, Jesus!

For all I do not understand, not yet believe, or know; Thank you Jesus!

May I drown in you and your love the only prize worth fighting for.

All the tomorrows come what may.

All the yesterday’s here I am blessed one more day.

None of it matters with out the love and hope in you.

As I put the physical and emotional armor on each day.   May I be worthy of your salvation for all the undeserving mercy and grace you wash over me in hope and eternal yearning.

It does not matter who gets it.    Just you Father God.  If all you are is all there is.  Make it so; yet if you choose to bless me, may I be my best self in love, and all I got to give back what you so freely bless.

Heal this being.

Heal all I am connected.

Heal this land as the drought is real and so many souls are lost to the vultures and demons of Satan’s sandbox.   

Come I need you; this world needs more of you than humanity will ever figure to be.

May we focus on you Jesus.  Stop being so wrapped up in our own rules forgetting who you are and will always be?

All we are here and now is temporal, on loan from you.  The repayment of that loan is to believe and walk with you and all that is good, all that is lasting, all that is love.  

Jesus, forgive me and all that I sin against you and those I am alive with.    May each day given bring new meaning, new hope so that anything seen in me is the love you gave so freely for all.

Lord as I work through this day given.  May none of the pettiness others throw my way stick and may I not get caught up on that which just isn’t valuable for my growth.

May no negativity rent space in my head and may the facts be the facts and let go of what should not be and hold on all your possibilities.     May I know the difference and if I do not; teach me keeper of all I am.

Thank you, Lord, for this new day even if I stayed up all darn night binge watching Firefly Lane on TV…. This mind just could not turn off after working outside all day totally exhausted and feeling those muscles I have not used in a while.     Thank you for it not being one of my long running series.

Goodbye May 2021; Hello, June.   Hello official hurricane season now to begin.   Not sure what the season will be like.  Nothing is as it use to be.    Still freezing cool up North and extremely hot in the South with no rain.   The elements are working in their own direction.    I am sure with the help of every soul walking this earth and what they do and do not do for it.

We all have elements of the mind, body, spirit, and nature to deal with.   How we do that depends on our actions and reactions.

None of us are getting out of this world alive.  Our souls may life in purgatory, hell or beyond heaven eternally but our vessels and everything we have, everything we have wasted our lives on to make the most important thing consuming our time here and now will be gone. 

Beauty fades, as quick as the wind blows.   Truth matters to what is everlasting.

 

What are we doing with our time, with what we work all day to achieve?  What are we teaching the future children of this world?   Besides not to trust anyone because someone will always be there to use you up and hurt you for their own selfish pleasures and games.

If we had to go back to growing and harvesting our own food to live; could we?

If we look around at what we have, do we truly appreciate it; or is it just part of the journey proving to the world this is who we are?

Are we real enough to be the truth?   Are we walking around in a façade and pretending every breath we take?

 

Happy June 1^st you all… yes lack of sleep, and a wild ride of this mind maze here we are again.

Eyes wide open trying to close them to not see a fool in the mirror that too gets lost in the world of believing in romance and ever after.       Loving those movies and binge worthy series of kings and queens and all the love that is only on the screen.

Firefly lane well, it had my attention, but it was not one of those unforgettable shows.  More like sad realities of the world.  But hey so isn’t the Criminal Minds series.

So many of us out in the world all wired uniquely even if we are created in the image of God.  We just do not know what short circuit our loved one’s will arc out with; and be sent over the edge of no return.

Craziness I know so much to do so little time.   This tired mind needs to get it together and truly manage my to do list of what is really important and who should be in my life to make the remaining days beautiful legacies or memories.

What is it I can do to pay it forward without burying myself in in the realm of would of, should of and absolutely could of?  But instead, I got caught up dreaming and forgot my place in this world.

 

Just dust in the wind, a mare speck compared to the grand scheme of things that really has no meaning.   Not one ounce of planned matter to be here and so forgettable soon after I am gone.

Riding the wave of hope in God while toying with the empty promises of man.    How often do we allow ourselves entangled before clinging to the cross that is our only life support?    Me It seems more often than I should be. 

Me remembering during one of the songs playing in the show last night how my mama would blast that old Patsy Cline on the radio and back then not really knowing anything about life; but so, getting it once I was grown.  Even sometimes doing a couple of shots and singing some in a local karaoke joint back in the day.  Yet, always making the Judds Grandpa my go to just because life is ever so changing.

If only I had that family element to have those stories.   Yet we all know no matter where we are in this journey.  Life changes fast and furious.    Not much for love staying and working things out.  Not many people becoming parents and living up to it.    Then, now and I cannot imagine the future.

Perhaps that is why I cling to Jesus so much.  Knowing no matter who I was, who I will be Or won’t be.  God the Father, Jesus Christ the one and only sacrificed son and the Holy Spirit three in one will never change.   The are and always will be for the greater good of humanity created so love and life everlasting could transpire.

One thing is for sure is we all go through storms of life and somethings come quick and others seem like they will last forever and beyond.   Sadness of those we love beyond words or actions lost; those we never have the opportunity to really be part of who they are yet we know how beautiful and needed they are.

We cannot fix anyone; we can barely fix ourselves on some days.   However, God sent his one and only to rescue each and every soul who calls on him.

No matter if you are in the middle of the screaming storms of life or the whispers are haunting you in truth that things need to change.     Call upon the name of Jesus to rescue your spirit, your soul and everything else I promise will beyond anything you can ever imagine.  

There is a light shining bright waiting for you to plug in and give you so much new energy that on the days life just is and you stay up all night no matter what the reason.     I wish I could make sense most days.  All I can do is be me and allow the river of this maze to pour out and purpose to learn more and more of who I am in Jesus but also who He is and ever will be.

We all believe in something.   I try to believe in humanity but how can I when I cannot fully trust even myself.   Life is what it is; until it is not.  May we all be a light even a flicker of hope and get back up fighting forward together or separate.   We are never alone!

Lord rescue me from myself.   You know all things; love and life wide open before even conceived.   Never stop directing my steps or allowing me to know who you really are and what my purpose here and now is.  

Bless us Father God, shining upon all who seek you; all who call out in their tears, in their hearts and all their silence.  

Thank you for this day.  Thank you for loving me enough to allow me to continue growing forward even when it gets messy and so far, off.   I know you will always be with me.  Be with all I am connected.

Prayers and Blessings our nation can get back to what once was. So many believed and sacrificed.

So many more will never understand care or work to keep freedom free to grow forward and be more than temporal moments and things that in the blink of an eye. are gone just as quick as they came.

 

None of what we live is happenstance.  It is the choices we make.   And we are here to do so because we are a free country slowly losing freedoms.  We are here because Christ went to the cross and took on all the debt, pain, and sorrow so humanity across the globe would have a chance to choose to live.

 

Today our military, our protectors, our first responders are the reason we are here.   Because of all they do and they although not going to the cross put their lives on the line to allow a nation to express freedom of choice, freedom of will for the good who died and are dying in the process!

 

Our choices and life are what they are because we allow them to be.  It is what it is until it is not; and Freedom is never free.   Your good, bad, or indifferent choices are costing something somewhere from someone.

Today we honor the many that paid the price with the very last breath given to fight so our country would not have to.    

Thank you to all those who have given all they are for a world that will never know them. May the God of all the heavens be with all who have been left behind because of their choices to fight for freedom and the Red, White, and Blue.

 

For all the fallen heroes on a battlefield, on the city streets, in the desert.   Be it you are rescuing babies from human trafficking, a starving living being from hunger or homelessness.   life from a burning building, a nation from those that fight for power and control with no regard for humanity at all.      Thank you!

Never stop being the good, doing the good; being the light when darkness is all around us.

Shining brightly be it in your wheelchair or shining down from the heavens.    Be it you are crippled in your mind, body, or spirit.    As the price you paid to help so many or just one.   Know you were the gift of life that God sent to help show the way to so many.

Be it any of us acknowledge, take it, and continue the journey trying to be our best self and walking and living for something more than our own selfish time given on earth.  Or we too do the best we can where we can.    We will never be grateful enough for what you who have gone ahead of us and given up so we can be.         Be it on the battlefield, behind enemy lines or through the first who hung on the cross.   May we all never forget to be face down kneeling for the cross standing for what we believe.

 

As many will be out having BBQs having fun some having a little too much.  As we celebrate, we who are working have a long weekend and others well some of us just like to always have fun and not contribute but take.

No matter what our situations or who we may know or what they may do including our own beings.    May we never take for granted or get caught up chasing all that is temporal, forgotten and meaningless in the end.   May we all be our best selves and dare to make our little space around us better for futures to come.

May we Lord come together for what truly matters and grow spiritually, foundationally, and deep within all that grows a future for humanity that you alone sacrificed to be.

Choices and the freedom to make them is the gift of your own Father God.   What we do with them for our own time here and now and anything for a future to come and the children, of this world is ours.  

 

May we wake and act in love, in life and prosper for what is eternal not just five minutes to be tossed out chasing the next.

May we find our freedoms in you Christ as we are set free out of the cages of our mind, our spirits, our very own abilities, and addictions we alone with you can change for something greater, something everlasting that only you Father God have answers to go on.    Hope in you Jesus is a new day dawning even if, even when!

 

Hope has a name; You alone Jesus.  May all the lights shine bright, and your children step up, step out and be the heroes of any tomorrows allowed.     Leading the way by example of peace making, teaching how and not what.   Planting the seeds of what matters in abundance yes guiding all that is necessary to really live and not just chase and toss out the temporal.     If this is all it is Jesus be with us. 

 

Be with me and all I am connected in truth, in spirit in all you will.

Thank you for the sacrifices of those who have gone ahead and thank you for this day.

Are any of us worthy?   210% committed in whatever we set out to conquer?     Are we so caught up in proving our worth to the world that really does not care or are we truly worthy with purpose and obedience in all we do?

 

Yes, triggering thoughts from today’s ODB.com devotional.      Makes me think just why, when, and how people go about their business each day and the end results they are chasing.     The gold diggers, those that find it easier to scam and use up the blinded or just those that realize what is happening but for whatever the purpose deep in their own hearts allow themselves to be used as well.    

Almost like the abused that continually go back to the abuser until the day the choice is made for them.

Jesus, our one and only King of kings, Lord and Savior was truly worthy and beyond committed in his sacrifice for love, for life for humanity, for us!

 

Well, what do I know anyway; here and now up and off to do what I do this Sunday morning.   Just sharing thoughts and thankfully blessed another day I am given to have my feet hit the floor and take that big deep breath as I look around allowing this mind maze to start zero to sixty seconds.       With that hopefully I will capture the live we will record of this weekends message and share it out.

 

Until then no matter who, when, where… Know you are loved and needed in this world.   Someone needs your light, your wisdom, your smile.

 

Have a blessed Sunday and know not everyone is allowed this blessing to reach for the stars one more day knowing if they miss, they will always have the moon to land on.   Never stop reaching for God’s creation or his hand and heart in you.

 

If you are having problems reaching, just reach out right where you are in your heart, your mind and spirit and ask Jesus to come to you.   He is just waiting for you to let  him in every day.  

For now know you are blessed.
