Thank you, Lord, for this new day full of opportunities!

If we cannot see the light may we have pure faith in, you and let go.   You will never allow us to fail or stay down if we believe.

May we lookup to you first and foremost in every situation, every moment of every day we have been given.

Here and now knowing where our very breath comes from.

So, what if we feel this hard love more days than what we think others do. 

So, what if we are going through and have lost those that we love and adored physically, and they are no longer with us.

So, what if we are in love with perhaps something or someone that we found reality proves really does not exist.

So, what it hurts like hell and back as we try to move, try to just breathe, try to just exist.

We are alive and knowing you Jesus; really getting to know the intimate pain and suffering you took on that cross and leading up to it.   That you took so we could live!

Jesus may we see you first and foremost in all things. 

Looking up and knowing we will never be perfect or get it; whatever it is to last the forever’s we have here on this earth.

We were not created to suffer, to burn even if there are unknowns, hardships, losses, and pain. 

We are created for so much more in love, in hope, with care of the potter’s hands for so much more.

May we stop taking the easy route?

May we know its not over until you say it is over even when things are silent, and we wait upon you?

Never should we burn in passion; even though want us all for yourself you allow us to be in unity with one and if we cannot or do not will that we belong to you.

Passion for others

Passion for stuff

Passion for the agape pure love that only you allow Jesus.

To be loved from the outside in, in truth, in trust for eternity as we are loved from the inside out when we come to know you.

Help me, help us to find, and stay on your path Jesus.

Reveal in me what needs to change, what needs more, what needs less.

Things happen at times and no one is at fault.  Help us remain steadfast with courage and strength to keep growing forward.

 

No one including me deserve anything in this life.  No matter how much we pay, how hard we work, or anything we do.   Not material items or that of others.

Everything we have or receive is a blessing.

May we learn to count each and everyone every moment we are allowed back up.  May we learn to be a door, a light a way towards blessings for those who are seeking you.

Even on those days we cannot see the light; may we remember to just be one.

No matter how it looks, how it feels.  May we cling to you Jesus and shine our best light with no agendas, but that to acknowledge blessings we have for this day.

Only you Jesus can justify the wicked that wish harm on all others.   Protect, guard, and guide us.   Teaching us not to lose ourselves.

May I learn to speak and treat my own being with the respect and love that you would and stop being so critical of what only you have the answers for.

 

Lord may you heal this land and all of us going through something. 

May we learn to not react, use up or take our hurts and anger out on those around us?

May we learn how and what it takes for positive growth and not fall into destructive habits?

   Yet when we do; and we all will.

 May you give us the lessons leading us towards the blessings you have waiting?

  Guide me, showing me what to hold onto, and what to let go.  Show me how to hold my words when they will be hurtful or even etchings that someday will make a difference in any souls, I am connected life.

 

 

I may never get it right, I may miss out or gain everything but none of it matters for the quest of eternal love, life, and eternal blessings.

As we will never be enough for those chasing the world, even if we should never count ourselves out.  We should never sacrifice what we know has no meaning once it is obtained.   We should not chase what does not belong to us if it is meant to be.  It will!

Never do I want to cause harm and pain to others that I would not want done to my own being and in this life the scars are deep and wide.    Turned into the steps of finding the truth each day I am allowed up.

 

 

What else can I do but Let it go, let it hurt and let it heal while moving onward.

As the soul pours out wishing to write the forever never-ending romance only silence across the distance is all that blots out leading in love healing and so much grace.

As Jesus bid your needs knows when the story is to begin or end.

Like that blanket or favorite stuffed animal, we cling to for security; that one thing that somehow puts us at peace and we fall soundly deeply into the abyss of peace that allows safety, just knowing even when we cannot see or understand why.   We rest in you Jesus!

Without it, without you we have that never ending spin of restlessness.  Yet something about the comfort when we lay our head down knowing it is all out of our hands and it is going to be better than alright.

I just wanna be happy, living simply seeing those that came after me, seeing my children healthy and living to their best abilities.  Watching generations grow forward and not be stuck in the same old spin of complaints, I Can’t, or even stuck in the lies and lost in the world believing what everything else around them says or does is it.   Then falling apart when the temporary shows up.

Not be the fix-it, not remembering those days when I myself was so weary and just wanted to cover up with that security blanket to forever disappear.

Everyone has a name; everyone has a story.   My writing taps out bits and pieces of mine always; but what if someone else close to you has been trying to tell you their story.    What if you realize your own worth and started telling your own story?

What is your legacy or how will people remember you when your no longer next to them?

Do they remember you for the fame and fortune you created, yet never really knowing who you are deep inside?

 Sometimes it is best we only know what we see on the outside.  Especially when our hearts are ice like stones.     Where we shut every and everything out.

We live in this world where we cannot live for ourselves because so much more is important.  

We all have a sacrifice, right?      We all do what we do and have very good justifiable reasoning.

We are all looking for that someone, that something.  Finding ourselves in the lowest valley’s or top of those mountains we climb only to find no one else being there.  

No one but the same creator that has given air in your lungs, my lungs more day.

God the Father and creator of all things, Jesus his son and sacrifice and if we are finally aware and having enough of what wears us out, we call upon the Holy Spirit to come live within us.

No way was I smart enough to figure that out on my own.  Yes, I did challenge God many times in my life before meeting Jesus.   Thing is I am not sure if I ever formerly met Him.   Some how the transformation day by day just took me over.

Somehow one day I stood up realizing I have never been alone in this world.  

All those moments when things feel all but lost and pains of unknown, of loss, of just weariness had all been blessed with strength to get back up and not fall into the pit and just do what comes easy.  Quitting!

Daring to be different, daring to be sometimes what we do not understand why.   Just knowing we are meant for so much more.

God and His love certainly moved first for and with me.   I would have never really grasped it if He had not.    What if I never made it off that pavement, off that floor, back to a shelter in place I was given as a child after that which would change my life forever at the hands of humanity.  

  What if all those times as a sick kid healing never took place.   What if the consumption that took place with those who were the vessels of my being here never transpired?

There are a billion reasons plus why we are allowed to be.   Why we have been given the freedom to choose life and speak life or choose death and be death.

I will never fully understand or grasp.   I could go back to college and learn all the theology in the world and try to become a great teacher to the faith.

But the facts remain.  Only God really knows the answer and it is between you and Him and his son Jesus Christ.  It is between Him and me and the future choices to be made for any day given to get back up.

Love yourself enough to dare to seek truth and your true worth as to why you here.

Be a light for the path you are on even if it is a flicker behind you.   Plant the seeds of hope, plant the seeds of love.  Pay it forward and learn and be kindness in what can be a very cruel world.

Sometimes we have to let go of what we have flowing through our veins and heal from the cuts so deep never understanding why.

If it is meant to be it will be. 

Father God thank you for the comfort in just being held by you.  Thank you for the childlike comfort of that fuzzy soft security blanket in a cold and misunderstood world most days.

I will never expect for anyone to really get me.   However, I know who I belong and that alone and the peace that flows through these veins is beyond that secure feeling more like a symphony or waterfall that just washes through and over all that I am.    

Yes, it is true, it will never stop us from being human.   Wanting, trying, doing sometimes really great things others not so much.  But all in all, the love that Jesus gave first and always once you allow it in.  Is far beyond anything this world can be.

Doesn’t mean I am not going to continue to be me.   Thankfully blessed for all I am allowed.  Tied in knots over some and not so much for others.    

Each day He allows me back up.  In faith, in prayer for whatever is next.  For me, for all I am connected.    Prayer and faith for all that is blessed, all that is healing, all that is good.

Trusting Jesus, learning to know Jesus, falling in love with Jesus and all of what he came, suffered, crucified, died, and returned and will rise again one day.   Maybe not in our time, maybe not in perfect circumstances.   But holding on to that one true peace that nothing can take away in all the problems of this world. 

   Peace and life is given freely for us to choose life.

God will never treat you with love when it is convenient in time, space, or surroundings.

His love is never failing; always at the beginning, throughout all days given onto eternity.   

He will never make you feel second best, like you get the leftovers, like you are not important.   After all you are created in His image.  As all humanity is.

He absolutely will never make you feel like you are not enough, or make you wait for someone else to leave their commitment, marriage or any other bond created between two people before you magically became a person of interest in someone’s view.

You will never need to prove yourself in tasks of how you look, how you dress or any other tasks or deeds.

God loves you just as you are.  Big, small, beautiful, or ugly by the world’s standards.  Rich or poor.    God’s love is sovereign.

Yes, he will allow you to grow through trials and tribulations and prayerfully you will gain insight and knowledge to share the blessings that you receive when you look back from the other side.  

However, He never calls for pain or suffering for any of his creation.   In fact, it hurts Him more each time someone in humanity falls and does things their own way, ending up consumed and broken if not dead and lost.

 

No matter what you have done, no matter what you hear.    Know you matter for more than anything or anyone this world will give or take from you.

It is hard not being caught up in the lies of the world and all the romance that in the end you find yourself buried and so very alone.

Give all you are back to God; Meet Jesus at the foot of the cross and know he will take all your burdens with just one request by you to do so.

With just each day you are given acknowledging where your help, your blessings and your life breathed into your lungs and who really is in control.

It does not mean we do not have to work and put effort into our day to days. 

But letting go and releasing all you are in Christ and doing your part for yourself and those around you letting Jesus manage the outcome.     What is our part?

What is my part?    That in itself can be hard to figure out any given day.

Walking in obedience with love, respect, and moral values for yourself and all you connect.

Seeking Gods will and learning no matter how weary or wore out you may get; each day you are given is filled with purpose and strength to dare to make a difference.

To let go of what was, yet never forgetting where each and every scar came from. 

Willingly wanting what is eternal and not just temporal ploys, schemes, or even material things that you will never take with you.

If only I had the answers even when this that flows out of a mind maze that often fights to not feel less than for those in the world, all the while knowing who is in control.

Happy Monday and already almost end of January.    Slowly aligning all that needs to be done.  Slowly releasing what I have no way of ever affirming while cleaning up those day-to-day choices made in 2020 leaving room for growth all the while fighting the walls of failure and foolishness.

Fighting the desire to quit all I have no control while pushing out what I can even if uncertainty has the white flag tattered in the winds of storm.

Bunkered down into the one thing of truth I know no matter what.     The peace that holds me together, the glue that has my hand in that of Jesus.  

The beats of one heart pure and true.  Like Gods hand massaging it full of life. 

Speak out, speak up be the light even if it is flickering and fading.

Far from the expert, confused and weighted heavily yet at peace knowing the absolutes are the one who created, and the cycle of life is fully in control and in life there is death.  Nothing lasts for ever and everything we have in the here in now is temporary.   

What you allow yourself to be beat up, used up or given up only matters in the moments you have mutual agreement and feel the blessings of what it does for each.   

 We get to choose; we get to choose if we want to believe in what we cannot see while bleeding out on the floor or we get to choose to lick our wounds, stop the bleeding and pray the healing comes quickly.   Moving forward with our best and if our best is not good enough.  It never was or will be for those we try to remain for.

Thank you, Jesus, for this new day.  May every soul I ever connect heal in you; may they find who you are through their own time and not get that bad taste when everyone that knows so much more forces their ways and will upon us.

Heal us Lord and use us to help lead the way in healing this land we are given.

Heal us mind, body, and spirit.

Be with those who right here right now feel trapped, feel broken, feel not enough.    Be with all those in protection and guidance leading the way for our children.

In your mighty precious name Jesus! Thank you for life and all the ripples and waves that keep me fighting to understand.

 

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

Daily Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (my perspectives and/or feelings):

Thanking God for each day given be it with blessings or messes is a privilege.

Taking one out of their comfort zone to just keep getting back up and trying.  Is not for the weak or faint of heart.    The battles of survival are in many layers.  Be it for day to day, for love, for life itself.  

Do you know whom you belong to?

Created from dust and dust we will return.   So why do we waste so many years, so many days, so many seconds of every breath given chasing things that rob us from purpose?

Why do we have the answers right in front of us; Like Jesus allowing Peter to walk on water and he was right there with him.  Yet Peter looked straight past Jesus and begin to panic and sink. 

We lose hope in many things and find ourselves drowning  or flailing trying to make it back to safety.  All the while the sharks, vultures, thieves, or those so messed up because they quit are hot on our heals trying to just get a piece of anything better than what they have or just to add to their collection.

 

Crazy thoughts this evening.

Way out of my comfort zone this morning being part of a choir in the middle of a pandemic; or just trying to blend.     When clearly routine is so much easier.   Staying between the lines serving and not risking.

It was fun, it was short and yes, I am sure I will do it again.

I have never before and will not start be crazy risking anything, but I also will not live in a bubble.

A bubble that bounces all through life taking on or bumping in things picking up thorns and shards that cut us along the way.   Most cases finding our ways to heal others just drowning in pity or worse making others pay for what should have been let go long back. 

 

Jesus and the cross and all that blood that poured out for each and every soul washing us clean giving us hope giving us strength allowing us back up each and every day we open our eyes and get to do it again.

So, what do we do with it?   Shut down, hide, bury ourselves in stuff, or dive in and just keep trying.  Even if it turns out to be wrong. 

There is nothing wrong when not knowing how to hold on; or when to let go.  But there is when you just don’t try.

Loving yourself well is hard.  Without a doubt, thinking it is hard loving anyone else.  Just try to love yourself the way Jesus says we should.  Selflessly not selfishly.   More than name brand anything or what is on the outside.    What is it deep inside that makes us tick and what is the value on your very own existence when those storms in life come along and wash it all away or like the 2020 pandemic that everyone is put in a time out to reevaluate?

Here we are still in 2021 maybe with an inch or two more in space to be creative but still in time out.  Or Else!

What is it doing for us? what is doing to us?  What are we allowing it to do with those we truly, madly, deeply love and care for?

For years thinking back the vultures and thieves and the days we acknowledge times changed and kids could no longer just be kids or play until the street lights came on.

Thinking about what about the children as they are put into boarding schools for the rich and left to fend for themselves from the poor.  Then all those in between trying to make a difference and finding how it hurts when the spirit is crushed when the child is lost to the ways of the world, or the demons lies.

How easy it is to just stay because of a present image yet not once calling upon the Lord to show the way. 

Oh, I remember walking forward in 1995 not knowing why I was even there but someone invited me, and I just did.

 

Just as I remember in 1997 falling to my knees screaming at God what do you want from me!   Doing my best and doing my best to numb everything that hurt every moment I could. 

There are moments when I was not so strong, not so proud laying on a floor unable to just get back up.    Times when I gave all I had and all I was only to find out I was never the intention of the other souls.

Don’t get me wrong there are some really awesome beautiful souls that I love dearly that still stay numb...   While I moved on as you know to always be careful what you ask for.   When you scream at God or whisper a name.   He is there always, and He wants nothing less than all of you that he created.

Crashing, burning with the help of others I was a pro.   So tough not taking any crap from anyone and just keep forging through.   Until that one day you look in the mirror and realize it has taken the toll.

Like that time travel looking back through the glass from the days when you were a child to the moments of yesterday.

Thankful for all that God has allowed me to learn along the way.  

Webster Hall and NYC for Times Square 1996.  Those days of cramming 12 people in a hatchback just to go have fun to the days you are picked off the payment as the road is gone.

Jesus my Halo!     Awakened then, and now my soul allowing love and moments in time that I will never understand.  Never be able to describe or perhaps ever recreate.     Forever my sweet soul King; moments in time.

 

Then, now through out the rest of my days onto eternity.

Those moments of loneliness those moments of almost when one day you wake up and realize its someone else’s game.

It is what it is until its not and the day you let Jesus in; your cup up overflows with such a sweetness that you cannot get enough of what only He can give. 

More than money, more than material items, more than anything this world will ever give or take.

Even if you stumble and try to justify what you think you need you have this understanding, He alone sustains all that you are and all that you will ever be.

Once you get a taste you cannot just give away unless you are sharing what you have found.  We get to choose our next steps no matter if we are in a fire, in a storm or climbing out of the boat to move on to what will and should make the difference.  WE get to choose how we will react in our timeouts, how we will react to that which others pour upon us like some dump truck of cement.  Or shower us with rose petals.    We get to choose.  We get to do what is necessary to be happy, to be real, to make life the best we can no matter what all the critics say.

If you have not met him yet or if it’s been a while since you have had that one-on-one deep spiritual relationship with him.   He is waiting.   He is always with us.  We are the one’s that shut him out  and shut down anything that may put us in awkward spots.  

No matter how far in or out of your comfort zone; nothing is promised for tomorrow.  So, if we do not find our best selves right now and do what is right morally, physically, mentally we forever spin in the trenches.

Change does not happen until we do our best to make it.    All things are possible with and in Christ.   So why not.  

I am no expert, I only know the ripples I find myself swimming some days never getting anywhere; all the while that rescue is with the bull horn shouting back telling em trust me, it will be alright.  Trust me do this, do that and it will work out as the weights to my ankles pull me down under, I keep fighting believing in all that is said but never seen.   As I take my own eyes off of Jesus and all that is right in front of everyone in black and white for centuries on in.

It is when I cling to all that He is and is for me.  It is when we are circled up with those no agenda friends that require nothing but will give you their very last moment.   It is when those times that worship choir is created and the entire building shakes from worshiping  the creator of all things.

Those moments no matter how bad it is that deep seeded peace fills you with abundance.

God is still my God and forever my rock, my breath, my life.    No matter what is happening.    That day like yesterday and those moments when I beat my head against the wall ever so long and hard and forgot or never knew just then.   But it was that one day He the Father, Son and Holy spirit came and led me to the cross and took all my burdens.

Because my own humanity so confused, so fragile, so filled with expectations thinking anyone in the world could ever do what He alone does.

Never planned, never on the vision board or even in class writing out goals.

Never even thought there would be a day I would make it in life long enough to grow up.    

 

I don’t know where I will be tomorrow, I know who and what I yearn and sometimes hurt for when I take my eyes off the eternal prize.  I know where I have been, but no way do I know where or what tomorrow will bring.   I just know no matter what; it will be okay!

No matter if its just life, no matter if someone is letting me down and all I thought they were really just on the surface or I let them down.    No matter if just that one day at a time has more unexpected waves that just keep slamming down.  It is going to be okay.   Here or on the other side; Jesus is, Jesus was, and Jesus always will be.  

Lord may all I am connected near or far meet you right where they are right here right now.  May the be blessed with that peace that lets them know its going to be okay.
