Thank you, Lord, for another morning
to rise. I wish I were that educated
theologian to break it down and teach and preach what he said. To have the connection to you and to the people
like the legacy Billy Graham or any of those who have come and gone long before
I was even this spec in the world.
No one can make us feel, do, or believe but our own inner beings. No matter what we go through, no matter how many twists and turns that are the same but different. We all get to choose.
Choose life and chase your light in love, with mercy and grace and fight for our own obedience in truth.
Or allow the darkness to consume us and justify radical improper and long-suffering death.
You Father God know when our last breath will be; but you have given us the freedom of will and choice to drive the destiny’s we go start out to and what or who we will step on or around to get there.
No matter what our choices; you gave your
only son so that we could have this life full of choices.

So, no matter what I do, what I say.
No matter if I write about where every scar I carry came from or even those I know I have left.
No matter if I write about the yearning deep down in the flesh for that one love that is deep within this being or the many lessons and broken hearts along the way.
There is only You Jesus that ultimately grant that abundant peace even
when the tears flow like Niagara Falls or the peace and happiness erupts in
laughter so hard you cannot stop crying.
Either way the tears, cells, molecules of this being belong to you Father God.
Somewhere along the line I finally woke up in this journey and realized to whom I belong to and all that I am, all that I have been allowed to procreate and all I am allowed to sustain.
Every single breath belongs to
you.
So, no matter if right here and right now were it or 75 more years come. Everything in and with you Jesus will be alright.
No matter what is or is not; no matter what
happens around me or even to me. I will overcome, we will over come just as it is writte in 1 John 4:4 (NIV) @BIBLEGATEWAY.COM 4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
So be it, if some Bob Marley reminds me this morning or the sun that shines bright or even the thunder and lightening in the perfect storm that surrounds us.
You Jesus are with those who call upon your name.
May all my
blessings, all my victories, all my strength and even hidden courage lead back
to you always Jesus!
We all get to choose and although I will never be that scholarly when it comes to everything the Bible means, is or will be.
But as I learn a little more each day and every breath you have given me is a blessing and an allowance to be one spec of my best self in this big old world.
One mustard seed in the canvas you have given me.
Full of lessons, colors, broken edges, and bold deep passion.
For this even if it means nothing to anyone else in this journey or everything to everyone…
It is you Jesus that deserve all the credit, all the glory, all of everything I will never be able to repay you with or for.
Thank you
for this day and any more that may come.
May we turn the page and bring to life the story you Jesus died for so we could live and paint that canvas.
May we/I always remember to seek redemption and never purposely get caught up in harm of or towards the world you bless us with.
Forgive me for that which I fall short and falter.
Thank
you for all you allow me to be, know and share.
Hear the whispers, hear the cries. Wake us up Lord! Wake us up…
May we live boldly in awe of you and all you allow us.
And when it is time to let go, may we cling
to you tighter than ever before.
