Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (my perspectives and/or feelings):
Thank you, Father God, for
allowing me this day. As I run through
the playlist of worship this night and was thinking too much on how I should
feel when I get up to worship you. Well,
that is like trying to understand how I should feel when just tapping out what
others may ultimately pick apart, judge and sometimes perhaps allow the seed of
your love to grow within; or totally rage and become hateful because the demons
of their battles they face may stir and they need to release and take it out on
anyone.
I think about the
conversations already in this year and the sadness knowing how quickly if I
could hand over all I had to help those find the next level of what they think
their life should be according to their plans.
Those goals we are told
and tell others we need to focus to grow forward. What about the ability to grow forward in
you Jesus?
I will never feel good
enough or like any of half of what I say or do is. But you Jesus still allow me back up this
day.
Smiling thinking back to
the old Wizard of Oz movie just wanting to click me heals three times and be
taken to that perfect place that we call home.
Where everything is great, and love is everywhere. No more sorrows, no more judgements or
misunderstandings. Ever lasting love and
with nothing but harmony even among the things that could be harmful.
Yet here I am reminded
there is no movie script or actors or actresses. This is life and we must find our first
moments given each day and any second throughout. Seeking your face, seeking your wisdom,
seeking your will and protect. We must
want to be filled with the spirit of God and peace eternal.
As I reflect of all
the battles to live, to survive to stay alive we go through. Of all the people we curse, we run from or we
should.
As I think of my life and all
the things, I thought I had done right only
to find out it was not your intentions Jesus.
Never would you ever want
to harm your children. Never would you call
for such arrogance and bitterness and say it is how life should be.
So, I seek you Lord, for
my loved ones, for my family, for my friends and for all connections I am
allowed in this journey.
May we all find you are
enough and everything else without hate or animosity come and shine bright as a
bonus but never replace you.
Heal the wounds Father God
and reflect there is no judgment for those ready and available feeling the
wounds when they are not called upon.
Heal the wounds of those that just do not have time to breathe because
they are always on the front line.
Heal those who do not even
know they are broken.
Heal Lord and show this
universe and all humanity within how to run to you.
Our devotional time with
you does not make us anything but willing participants to learn who you
are. If our hearts and eyes and all
that we are willingly do not want, you to fill us up. All we read, all we hear, all we watch is
nothing but just that of noise.
Lord may hearts soften
Lord may eyes open
Lord may forgiveness flow
Lord may healing start now
Mind, body, and spirit in
you, with you, from you.
May abundant agape love
flow like honey in protection, in peace, in every storm or paradise moment we
are given.
May we be courageous to do
what is right, not what is a quick fix, not what is easy, not what is for our
own selfish me’ism no matter what it is we are going through.
You Lord are the most
selfless being that is, and every will be.
May I and all I am connected become more like you in truth, in morality,
in reality, in love. Your love, mercy,
and grace.
I am sorry Lord for what I
have made it or stayed silent and did not.
I am sorry that I call upon you
for the needs of others, of myself yet not always stay in your presence.
May all that I ever will be
always know how blessed even through the healing and the scars that never will
be understood. How every breath, every
step, every story, every message, every lesson. Would never be had you not went to that
cross and took on all what the world will never really appreciate or
understand.
My hope is in you Jesus,
show me, teach me, lead me.
