Daily Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (my perspectives and/or feelings):
Remembering what
you said Lord! I know the plans I have
for you, and they are good. I call out
with thanks I am given another day as I call upon you for everything and
anything. To just show all I am
connected what you are famous for!
I believe in all
you are even when I have a hard time explaining to others why I cannot believe
in them when I cannot see what their vision or reality is. I believe in all that you are Jesus.
Sometimes it is
hard to hear what you say Lord; yet in the end we see and hear when we hold
close to your promises. Else we find
ourselves spinning and losing the battles to the wars you already won.
It does not
matter how long we have called ourselves children of God or walked with you
doing everything or nothing right. It
is when we cling to you we see that all our sin is dead and gone; and knowing
we are not perfect; we are able to live with all our fear, chains are gone
while we purpose to walk each day in obedience to something far better than those of the world can justify.
We can make, borrow,
beg, steal millions. We can have it all
or nothing at all. But without someone
in truth to share it with. It has no
meaning.
What good does it
do for any man if they are alone and left to suffocate in what the sold out for
tumbling in on top of them.
Is it no
different than any celebrity that is managed and can never be free to live
because they sold out to the world who dictates what is and what is not?
Sometimes even seeking
the ability to numb the pains of what achievement really costs them. Selling their souls to never be recovered. While others are steadfast and coming back
to you Jesus.
I have to believe
no matter how twisted or spinning out of control my words, my day-to-day; my
anything, everything or even nothing. I
have to believe with out there is nothing but chaos and constant battles for
what has no meaning.
The peace from
you Jesus deep within is far greater than all that is temporary in this world.
Dying to self is
an everyday process. It does not get
easier and in fact sometimes becomes beyond hard. Yet, the reward with, for and in the kingdom of
God is more than worth the sacrifices we endure to live full meaningful lives. Or Should be!
Anything worth while
takes work. Be it getting that perfect
shot for a photographer; that perfect smile for an orthodontist. So why would it not take all we are to fight
forward with purpose, self-denial, and obedience to reflect the goal of eternal
life of gold.
If I am wrong, I
have peace and have been blessed by focusing on what is not here today gone
tomorrow. Not perfect, not anything to
many but more to most.
Everything to and
for my God and His son Jesus Christ who died so we can have life.
