Psalm:28:7
The Lord is my strength and my
shield, my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks
to him in a song.
Matthew 6:34
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about
itself. Each day has enough trouble of
its own.”
Psalm 56:3-4
When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
Genesis 28:15
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring
you back to this land. I will not leave
you until I have done what I have promised you.”
Daily Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (my perspectives and/or feelings):
Strong
reminders this morning that you are and always will be in control.
That you
take the worry, the pain, and all the in-between for all who believe and lean
in on you.
That no
matter what we see as justice or injustice of what humanity does to itself. You were and always will be the final say.
No
matter how many stories we make up, how
many lies, how many movies and scripts we play out stacking up collateral
damage along the way because somehow, we were put in a place in our lives to do
so. You in the end have the final word.
No one
is exempt. The devil surely does wear Prada
as the old cliché goes.
Thank
you for the ability to find my strength and get up and move even when I beat
myself down for at times being so gullible and finding myself helping those who
never truthfully needed it. As I find peace to know that you flow through
me and somehow interesting that no matter what year I have given to those
undeserving filled with lies and selfishness. You always were there as well.
May
those seeds grow into a forest of all you are with every moment, every breath,
every action anyone who has gained from the heart you gave me. May they be blessed or cursed no matter how
it feels for them to know. You are, you
always will be Jesus in control. And they
will answer to you.
Forgive
me for anything I have made missing what it really should have been.
Thank
you for the lessons these past few weeks and what core values should be.
Know a
name and now a story; everyone has one as to why they are who they are do what
they do.
Evangelize
the lost, disciple the found; planting seeds, doing our best with what we and
who we are while leaning in on our no agenda brothers, sisters always and most
times friends.
You
matter to God; You matter to us. We were
all created in Gods image, we are all worth more than anything the worldly
chess masters can take from us.
Wrapping
up with
Share a
Burden, meet a need. How this looks for every soul Lord is between
you and them. I can only ask to guard my
heart and all that I am each tomorrow I am given.
We are
not here to fix it, but to help carry the weight of each other and the burdens,
pains sorrows and even joy we grow through.
Show me
Lord what next, show me how to keep bench pressing and even tossing all that
was to the wind and know there is so much more in you, with you and for you to
come.
All of where I
have been or all of where I will go. I
believe Lord you are the way. Nothing
else will do. You will never hurt
others, use others for what destroys, harms, or reflects darkness. You alone shine bright always. Even
when we are so blinded by the game of life, we just cannot see it to look up. May I never stop looking up and looking for you Jesus!
