2-6 The servant grew
up before God—a scrawny seedling,
a scrubby plant
in a parched field. There was nothing
attractive about him, nothing to cause us to take a second look. He was looked down on and passed over, a man who
suffered, who knew pain firsthand.
One look at him and people
turned away. We looked down on
him, thought he was scum.
But the fact is, it was our pains
he carried— our disfigurements,
all the things wrong with us.
We thought he brought it on
himself, that God was
punishing him for his own failures.
But it was our sins that did that
to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him—our sins!
He took the punishment, and
that made us whole. Through his bruises
we get healed.
We’re all like sheep who’ve
wandered off and gotten lost. We’ve all
done our own thing, gone our own way.
And God has piled all our sins, everything we’ve done
wrong, on him, on him.
For

Lord you know this
heart. Be with friends going through it. More dear loved one’s down for the
count. Be with Rob as he is going
through it in ICU and be with Irene as she paces the floors sick and alone at
home. Not sure what is next. May their faith in you heal them and keep
them comforted during this storm. May
all that know and love them lift them up in good spirit, well-being, and all
they need to keep going forward if this is your will? Your Will Be Done @ CityALight
Thank you for this
new day, this new month. Lord give me
direction, strength to finish what you tasked me to do. Let Me Finish @Erik Vargas
Day to day is such a
whirlwind and the layers different but same just keep coming. Somedays lighter some days heavier. As I reflect and know how blessed I am with
everything or nothing. Still blessed
beyond deserving.
Ready for the winds
of change Jesus. Ready for something meaningful
and lasting and not just the spin trying to keep things floating especially for
those who really do not care. They just
ride the coattails and waves of everyone who has arms wide open to receive and

It is not about me,
really it is not. Although I am so ready
to just sail off and not care so much any longer. I have always struggled with feeling as the
winds of time has shown me the truth that sometimes cuts deeper than what I
care to want to heal through.
The world will never
be the same and knowing you Jesus gives such a deep peace, but the weight and
the weariness still come. So over
what is temporal in this place. People,
places, and things. Those that you believe
in and find you were so confused or those that were so beautiful, and they are
taken. Why are we working to just go through the motions?
Working since I was
14 then to just survive and grow forward; now everything I worked for was for
so many years for everyone else and in the end none of it matters. Just okay is never enough; doing for everyone
else who really only live for the moment and never really stand in the truth
for everlasting purpose. At least not for the reasons they market and
sell out in the world. I am weary Father
God for so many reasons, May I rest in you and renew and not just keep going
through the motions even though I do good things. The Motions @Matthew West
May they be great things for you and for more
than what I see and feel. May I feel
that energy to just fight a little more.

Love what I do
serving you Father! Without a doubt, yet
here I am again at the crossroads where those detour signs letting me know
danger is up ahead if I do not find the direction needed to be more, be better,
be me for what matters and clean up all that never should have even been
considered in my view; yet it was.

Resurrection is coming,
no doubt about. You left that tomb long
ago and are coming back and are with those who believe here and now. No matter what we feel, what we do. You will never turn your back on those
suffering, hurting, broken or together.
You will never just let your children go. You always come back for the one even when
there are 99 others. It is your reckless

It is your love alone that will never fail, never
compare to anything this world is or ever will be.
You know what I do,
what I feel, what I want, what I need. Jesus
come for me and all this world as we know it. Show me the different view of what you see

want to. Who would I be if I did not go
through these lessons? Jesus help me
