“I Am WITH YOU AND FOR YOU.” Your constant Companion and Provider. The question is whether you are with Me and
for Me. Though I never leave you, you
can essentially “leave” Me by ignoring Me: thinking or acting as if I am not
with you. When you feel distance in our
relationship, you know where the problem lies.
My Love for you is constant; I am the same yesterday, today, and
forever. It is you who change like
shifting sand, letting circumstances toss you this way and that. When you feel far from Me, whisper My
Name. This simple act, done in childlike
faith, opens your heart to My presence.
Speak to Me in love-tones; prepare
to receive My Love, which flows eternally

Daily
Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (Thinking out loud)
Thank
you, God, for loving me and allowing me another day. Direct my steps, my attitude when I am
frustrated with others. My actions when
my short temper still gets the best of me at times.
I
have no time for temper tantrums Lord.
And I have no authority over others that think only of themselves and their
actions and how they treat others reflect so.
I
need direction for the best way to handle those you have allowed in my journey.
Parents
should be parents; kids should be kids and although the world is not one big campfire
song. Everyone should really purpose
for the best in everyone.
Show
me and all I have so close what matters Jesus.
I know we cannot force anyone to meet you. We can let them ride our coattails and give
and give until there is nothing left.
However, until we open our eyes, and heart to you for our own choice and
will. None of it matters.
Sort
of like buying love. We can put
everything we ever had or will have into material items and give that but not
our time and our true selves to those the care for. In the end all it will be the stuff tossed to
the trash or for someone else to steal, take or fight over.
Still
remembering the day, I drove up my street and seen an entire house on my block
with all of its contents dumped in the driveway. The caretakers paid to manage the property
while the owner got ill took the money and ran.
Before the person could get out of the hospital the bank came in and
dumped everything into the driveway and like coach roach’s people from all over
came out and started picking through all that was left. Lord
may my life be so much more in the eyes of others besides the material items I
am blessed with.
May
I reflect even on my darkest times the hope in you and all that you bring to
life for those who believe.
Thinking
how quickly we forget and just fall back into all that has us spin out of
control. Thinking how we have, how I
have to purpose daily seeking you. Knowing
how easily I can be consumed by the day to day and get caught up in what is or
is not working or any one person reflected personality coming out for whatever
the reasons that trigger them.
Trying
daily to seek you before even hitting the floor or falling off to sleep.
Wanting
the best for those I love, in peace, in blessings, in harmony of all that is
good. Yet so often left to watch the
battles rage within them and it is spewing out all around.
Jesus
calm the storms that are raging within all in need. Take control as you did that night in the
boat. Guide and protect those now sick
with this virus. Thank you for bringing
Rob and Irene out of the darkness. Thank
you for the minimized impacts so far to my entire bloodline when it comes to
this pandemic.
Thank
you for my own health and well-being.
Show
all I am connected the direction and truth in your precious son Christ Jesus
and why he gave His life for us.
Lord
you know all things from the times when we are lost children to the babes
sipping milk and growing in all that is called life. Until that one day we come to the end and
there is no more choices to make.
Weigh down on all I am and am connected in truth, in love, in justice
for all that is good, in purity with clean hands and willing loving souls. For a better life in and with you
Jesus. Love like this and the want to be consumed
in such passion and compassion. Deeper
than any ocean abyss higher than any mountain.
Across
the oceans, yet in the here and now. You
never let us go; even when we run the other way. We are your creation even when beautifully
broken. We all bleed the same, yet we fight amongst
ourselves trying to prove what you already know. You
know the beginning and you know the end.
May all that I am always be grateful and hope in you for the blessings
of getting me up each day alone.
Thank
you for this day and all that may come.
A new day, full of opportunity to be made, taken, given. All because of you Jesus~
