Thank you for this new
day and all that can transpire in the moments given.
Be with those dear and
tied tight to my heart strings Lord as they are going through the loss and
heartbreak of the losses, they were never ready to deal with.
None of us are but for
some this is all new territory.
There is nothing even
from those who have already been through it that will make the pain or sadness go
away. I can put my little pick me ups
out there; little writings about no matter what just keep speaking life and
fight forward and the heaviness will lift.
But we all must handle
what is given in our own circumstances ourselves.
My heart cries out for
those close and in the distance. For
all of us that have received that diagnosis, that have been broken physically, emotionally,
or mentally just worn down. Lord may
the same hands that hold this universe comfort them now.
May the strength they
have then be more important to find now.
For all the changes we
go through. Planned, unexpected. You know those planned out and either turn
out well or not at all. To those that
turn out because we believe in others, and well yes, some rare but do bless us
while others leave us scratching our heads and wondering what in the world were
we thinking; if not the fact we are left without more piece to who we are
because of broken trust.
What we do with all of
it in any situation matters.
If we beat ourselves
down and speak negative and hold on to the negative it comes to be.
So how do we get off
that ride and still walk towards the blessings and goals that add to life and
not take it?
For me it hurts, still
every loss I am exposed to. My own and
others it does not matter. Perhaps for
me it is easier to get back up because there have been so many. Or my hope in you Jesus makes me aware there
will be no more suffering, no more hurting when we see you face to face. I have no answers for sure.
I lift all that I am in
blood, in purpose, in you to you. Please
guide, comfort, and show us what is next.
Be it a friend, a child,
a pet that took place of children, something that we have worked for in this
world just to survive. May it all be
blessed in and with you. Lift and guide
us to the new horizons waiting Father God.
In all my insignificance
Jesus, you let me know my worth, my purpose when I cannot explain any of
it. Be that for all I am connected!!!
We are made for loving
all you are Jesus. Never let us go when
we just cannot see or hear you in the static and spin, we get caught up
in.
Be it twelve days
before you take us home and we give our souls back to you or a lifetime jumping
in and out of the vehicle that teaches right from wrong.
May we come to call
upon your name first each day we are given while being our best selves no
matter what that looks like to believe in all the good, all the love and all
the life you have waiting for us.
This is a miracle that
we even this day you allow us up Jesus.
May we just keep fighting forward for you, with you.
Lead me, lead all I am
connected for all that is pure; all that is purposeful; all that has meaning
and shines even the smallest flicker.
Make us like you Jesus. Never stop
leading me to the cross.
Thank you for all that
I can be.
Thank you for the
forgiveness and promise in hope within each new day given.
