Will we leave behind
those who depend on us, will we leave behind the innocent or turn our eyes away
as darkness consumes and takes over to come what may?
Yours, mine or all the
unknown; every soul was created in the eyes of God to be kings and queens. With the caveat of serving and not just thinking
we are better than anyone and should be served and given everything without
working for it.
Yet, this world so
filled with entitlement and expectations higher than Mt. Rushmore.
How many different ways
can you paint a picture for the truth to be revealed? If no means no, if I cannot; I cannot, if I
don’t have it, I don’t have it. If I am,
I am; if I want well, we all want something.
We can want in one hand and wish in the other. The only true thing that can ever occur is
when you put your hands to good use and pray with good intentionality and
purpose every single day you are given air in your lungs.
Seriously want in one
hand, wish in the other and what do you get?
Depends on what you do with the day-to-day you are given.
We are always fearless on
the outside when we are deep within the world and no matter how doubtful,
scared or anything in-between causes us a need to be proving something to those
who surround us.
Yet that fear sometimes
pours out of us by our attitudes and actions we take towards people, places, or
things. Sometimes we stay so caught up
in that spin that those people who won’t even remember your name 10 minutes
much less 10 years from now.
We forget to breathe;
we forget who we really are and who we see ourselves becoming.
Direction sure we are
all going somewhere. Sometimes we are
dragging all the old baggage of where we are coming from and where we have been. Others are running as fast as they can to escape
the harsh and sometime cruel world they have been caught up in by fate, by
family, by choices.
No matter what the case
may be. At which point do we really
believe in our selves and learn to let it go?
Even if you fail, even if you keep changing and try over and over again
and still just does not seem to be perfect.
Let it go, own it as is and know perfection takes time and the only one
that will ever be perfect is the God who created us to begin with.
He did not do that in
error or haste. Every single soul was
uniquely and beautifully made with and for His purpose. Despite what any of the world may give or
take. No matter if you give yourself
away or are stuck in a situation that you need help to escape.
Call out to the one who
hung on that cross and took on all the world would be, so that we would have
freedom in peace and abundant mercy.
Be it nothing, be it
something. Where nothing can be
everything and everything without love, without Christ, without hope in any new
tomorrow will always be nothing.
The craziness in any of
our worlds is driven by what we consume and drive for. What we set ourselves up to consume or give
away.
Change is good, change
is hard, change takes work. On
ourselves, and anyone we are tied to.
Every single thing we do or don’t do; washes out with the results like a
huge tsunami wave that ripples for generations. More than those 15 minutes or 15 years in
any spotlight.
What legacy will you leave
for all who come after you?
Are you leading by the
example you want to be remembered for?
Someone is always
watching. Be it the kid down the street
or right in your own home. That niece,
nephew, neighbor.
That nosey neighbor peeking
out the window blinds or that ghost following you, trolling you, trying to be
you on some social internet site. That
mentor, teacher, friend, lover, parent, sibling.
So many all the time
always full of opportunities to get caught up, watch, judge, direct, or deselect. Any and all parts of you. The you that walks around caring and driving
yourself crazy trying to meet unimportant expectations or digging out from when
you lived up to what you thought was important to find it was just something of
the world and those who were caught up in it.
The spin can and is
on-going until the Good Lord says no more.
At that time, your
check out time, your mail stamp to the destinations unknown.
Where your vessels are no longer, and your
souls are joyfully meeting up with all those you believed in Jesus; celebrating
with him or looking for those who never called upon his name and are now within
damnation beyond all horror and pain anyone here and now could imagine.
Have you really made
the choice of what you believe?
Which idol do you put
your everything into? Which god because
according to the world there are so many.
Wait maybe you don’t
believe in any! Maybe you think you know
enough that you have decided there is no God, there is no savior, there is no
God created all things and you just have enough out there that you know we are
alive and going through the motions of day to day; taking what you want, lying
your way through, giving nothing but to which will feed your needs.
Maybe you are one of
the chosen, fighting the good fight and doing all you can to be your best self for
everything you learn daily about Jesus.
No matter where you
stand.
What legacy will you be
remembered for?
That dash from the day
they say you were born, and the time stamp you fly out of here; what is that
dash that this cruel world will always remember about you?
Not a thought because
it matters what people think. Especially
if they are only chasing you because you are rich, famous, yada yada!
But what is it that you
are doing to contribute to help ensure there really will be tomorrows worthwhile? Something of a future for the littles that
someday have to deal with the nonsense we create, allow, or leave impacts here
and now for.
Here we are in today’s
world we are so damn worried about cancelling out what once was. We have lost our way to set the foot path to
have any future of a tomorrow promised that would be worthwhile.
Stuck on Race, Genetics,
Gender, Sexuality and judging people because of their size, race, speech, or
status.
We want everything and
do nothing to contribute to teach and help the world grow forward.
We think we need to
give things away and finding in the end no matter what we give. It will never be enough.
Always a reason, always
an excuse. Yet so little time, so little action to dedicate, and really put
effort in for anything good.
Collectors to leave
what is being collected to the bugs, and that which comes out of the woodwork
once you can no longer look at the dust collecting on the tops of it.
God wants us to prosper
in all that is good all that is pure all that is truth. So having nice things and money in the bank is
not a sin. Boosting, bragging, looking
down on those that do not fit your vision or run in your circles.
Saying you are out
there working for God while bragging and showing off and living in the world
behind closed doors.
Everything comes full
circle.
Karma is real.
God is real.
Are you?
God of mercy and grace,
which you give me every day I am allowed up.
Lead me away of the
judgment an attitude that take over when things do not go my way or things
happen to and to the layers of life.
Show me how to be more
like you and less like me. Be with all
I am connected as you see fit.
Show me how to live the
walk and stop needing to be consumed by any talk.
