We get so caught up in those bad habits they become our reality blinding
us from escape when all we wanted was one true escape and something that is
lasting and true. Leaning on me,
leaning on you. Never quitting each
other no matter what we do. Knowing when
we believe and fight forward, we find reality in the timeless truths that can never
be taken away or lost even when we cannot see, feel, or touch what we want
most.
Look around and if you cannot see with your eyes wide open, see with
your heart and listen to all those who have nothing, yet they laugh and have
joy deep down inside as if they have everything. So do you, so do me~
Maybe this is it, maybe there is more. Even if there is will, we appreciate what we
are given when we have it. Most times
we set it down like a child getting all new toys at Christmas and just forget
about it as we chase the next and the next.
Love wide open happens when you love yourself first in truth of
what you are really made of. Setting
boundaries to love unconditionally yet never be that doormat, all while filled
with forgiveness but knowing if they hand you the scissors you will surely cut
the ties.
What is it that we want from this life that is our own filling
us up to overflow pouring out all that is bright even in our darkest hours if something
has chipped away? It does not matter
who or how it was broken and chipped what matters is what will we do with the
pieces we have left?
Sometimes everyone knows you but never recognize who you really
are. Allowing us to change to be what
they see, what they demand, what they allow us to become slaves to.
The party in the garden didn’t turn out so well for Adam and Eve. In fact, humanity pays for the betrayal for
eternity as each generation pays for the mistakes those before us make.
What we do with what we have on the other side here and now
matters most that will eventually get us where we will be later.
So, what if we screw up making big mistakes or small. What can we learn from it, from them, or
anyone that has taken those broken pieces for their collection even if they do
not know that is what they are doing!
Do you recognize who you
alone are and were made in the image of God?
We will never be enough for even half the people we engage or
connect with in life. In the truth being
told we are all broken, jagged edges to the beautiful mosaic canvas God is
waiting for us to fill with the colors of hope, peace, mercy, forgiveness where
he will top it all of glazed with abundant grace for all who continue to do
their best and hold on to his son Christ Jesus.
I don’t know how or why I would or even could feel and tap all
of what we have here and now out and know even on the bad days, even on the
days were we need His rescue. Perhaps
being the dreamer deep inside, perhaps all the waves of misfortune from the day
I came into this place called earth.
Perhaps the fact that God himself in all the space and unknown where the
spiritual wars have been on-going before the beginning of time. As they will far past the end of our times. Perhaps some of those dreams that make you
jump in the middle of night and reach out to someone trying to warn them of
what may be coming. He also reminds us
how loved we are no matter what…
I will never measure up to those I once chased just wanting that
one chance to be what they believed or wanted. Yet God has had a way to prove to me I am
more than enough as I am a child of His chosen. Daughter of the Prince of Peace that
allows us to find our identity in love.
Perhaps the whispers of the name that comes to mind in the
middle of the night are true and meant to be.
Perhaps they are just lights shining for something more waiting for you
to truly give yourself and let go of what wouldn’t, couldn’t or didn’t and you
fill in the blanks for the world has so many opportunities that can go there.
The unfortunate loss is that of our own personal time and space
while we chase all that should not be, or just wait for what think will
be. We have to want to live and to be,
to do. We must believe in the blood of
Jesus that has washed those who raise their hands up and hold on in faith and
not just out in front looking for someone to fill them up with all that is temporal
and robs us.
We may not see it, but Jesus is right in front of us, next to us
surrounding us and just wanting our invitation to allow his spirit to come live
within our own. Just as rehab is not
for those who need it, it is for those who want it. I
may pray my heart out but only God knows if that soul I am praying for will ever
soften and make the changes and want themselves. But it will not stop me from believing Gods
army of angels cannot come down and consume us helping us find our way back on
the path of life ever after.
The angels of mercy, accountibility, healing, strength. There is nothing stronger than the blood of
Jesus or anyone that represents the best intentions. Not man, not legal, governmental, or even
hustlers of this world.
Though it may be dark now but through God the son Jesus Christ
will always shine through.
God is not here for those who think they are perfect. He is here for all who call upon his name
daily and believe and trust in his mercy, grace and salvation awaiting.
So, I may be deep in love with a dream that may or may not turn
out in truth to be. I am one that will
always need Jesus. No matter what is,
no matter what will be. If I leave here
tomorrow or a billion tomorrows from now. We all have a story and I need all that God
is to be leading me through mine. Even if
I get derailed, detoured, and fall off the path. I know He is with me; He is waiting for you
as well to call upon him daily.
Father God for all of us that need you including those afraid to
call upon you. Afraid they will lose
life and things will change. Yes, they
are right to be first we must be last, to live we must die to ourselves. Father God send your angel army and fill us
up. You know all things and may that blood
of your son that poured out and fille the land as your breathed life into the
dust and formed humanity.
Come now and heal the land that has been so disrupted in
darkness and hate. Brokenness and lost
abilities to give without giving all we are away. Fill us with the light of hope and energy
filled with your abundant mercy and salvation waiting for those to call upon
you.
Believers and non-believers.
Lord give me strength to fight forward and do what is right in your will
not my own. Be with all I am connected
and fill them up to see the truth and work towards something better than
chasing all that is temporal. Heal the
sick and broken! Never stop healing
me.
