Till I found you I never knew how much life I was missing and had been
held back stressing over things I cannot change or choices that didn’t turn out
with people, places and things that here I am on the other side still blessed
and up another day finding the good in every second I am given. Well, I wish I thought about the good 24/7
but that is something I have to work hard daily in remembering you are in
control Jesus and no amount of worry, doubt or that spiritual tug of war that I
play with you will matter.
In the end I have either enjoyed and truly acknowledged the blessings of
each day given or I have wasted moments that will never be replaced with things
that become as irrelevant and forgot as that speck of dust blowing in the wind
that only bothers us when it lands in one’s eye and irritates us until its
rinsed, you know washed clean and we move on.
Thank you, Jesus, for allowing me the ability to get back up and either
find fun and life in the beats and rhythms or just stay down and missing all
you have waiting on the horizon for us, for me.
It does not matter where we come from.
It does not matter any brokenness that we call family or lack of. We will see the light in God’s promise. We just have to allow Jesus in and fight
forward with and for his Promise of life eternal.
Loving who you are and where you will be.
No that does not mean lay down and let the world beat the crap out of
you or starve for anything. God wants
every one of us to experience his goodness and blessings that come from temporal
things that come and go.
But that is just it. Everything
in this world including the pain we may be pushing through is all temporary and
the fact remains nothing will experience as much pain that Jesus already took
for us on that cross and the days and nights that led to it.
We will get through this. Pray
and pay it forward wherever you may be.
Do not be afraid to ask for help when help is truly needed only after
you prayed to Christ first to know if it really something you should be chasing
and holding onto.
Help is in Jesus’ name!
There is nothing anyone can do to deny that. We may not see it. We may be so caught up in the static to not
hear His blessings. But not to worry
when we do, we realize it is here and not on the way.
Until you can calm the thunder of the beating heart and all that causes
that stress and anxieties take time to pray face to face with the maker. Call Jesus into your lives as we cannot get
to the father but through Jesus Christ himself.
Yes, serving and going to a church with fellow believers, brothers, and sister’s
matter. But it all starts right where
you are in those one-on-one moments every day in the good and bad with Jesus
himself.
Nope I am no authority, but I have lived life and have enough scars at
my own doing or at the world that I put all my trust in until they tossed me
out like I was nothing at all once they did what they did or was done and moved
onto the next that can fill whatever accounts emotionally, financially, for
their own growth and pleasure.
Being a kid in this world then was hard and I cannot imagine having to
grow up in today’s world especially without God.
We all have to believe something and the hurt, and habits of those that go
before us leave us spinning and making our own decisions of what we want, what
we do or what we won’t do or be like.
Just know the world cannot define you unless you let it. Choices matter but you are not alone and
never have been. Even if you came up in
a broken home or a family that parents fight or do stupid things. Or those you wanted and needed were /are
never there for you.
I used to say I was going to create a license plate that said I am who I
am because you made me this way.
Until I realized growing up without the family unit made me independent
and although it took me into my adult life to understand I owned my own choices. Allowing myself to fall into to anything was
my choice. And if the end result was great,
it was awesome but if it turned out badly or not as expected it hurt like hell
and at times took bigger pieces of me than I ever thought I could replace. Only later to learn I was not meant to
replace anything. In my growth, in your
growth you become your authentic self with who you are in the creation of God
the Father and once you understand your worth and sacrifice your meism’s from
selfishness to selflessness you find an entirely different you.
We are not all the fun filled beautiful words that flatter me when
someone is trying to get in my bank account or pants.
Giving away oneself for 5 minutes or 5 hours or 5 days of pleasure only
to live with a lifetime of regret knowing you can never get back anything once
it is gone. Matters in the choices
we make.
If someone truly cares about your future, they help you together the
best they can to grow forward. Not stop
and demand to allow consumption of any part of your being or time.
Grow forward to be something that makes a difference in this world. Leave your legacy be it you are 10, 20 or
99. Paying it forward can be just
general acts of kindness or great choices that give others what they could
never be, do or achieve without your help.
Paying it forward is as simple as saying thank you, holding a door,
writing a thank you note, or checking in on someone that cannot get around.
Making a meal, sharing a sandwich, sharing a cookie as simple as it
sounds makes a huge difference.
Today in our here and now we are on the verge of extinction. Sounds funny right. But humanity does not know how to remain
human and deal with all of what is going on with us, through us, around
us. Wars are not new; innocence and
death is not new. Though in our instant
gratification world we now have the real images of what happens when fires burn
the world to the ground or cults, gangs, thieves, and armies of all that is
evil takes over.
What it is like to live through a pandemic, plagues, hatred, loss at the
hands of the inability to cope so our children are lost to drugs and all that
consumes them when they cannot deal with how the world had its hold.
We need something good to believe in.
We need God the Father and his Son Jesus and that is one of the main
reasons it is so important we allow the Holy Spirit to come live within us.
It is not going to make everything alright or make the pain go
away. But it will fill us up with
strength, courage and so much peace even
through the pain.
Allowing Gods promise to live through you and you doing your best in
moral obedience and want to grow forward in all that is good will not stop life
from happening. But it will take you
places more beautiful and give you strength you never knew you had to get back
up. When you are face planted fallen
over because of you or anyone else in this world.
Our talents, our bank accounts, our looks none of that matters to
God. He knows exactly our cost. We are priceless.
Yes, having it all and the fame and fortune where we sell out our souls
and life to the images the world makes for us only takes life.
But what do I know? Only that if
I had a dime for every dollar, I gave away I could retire at this point.
Life is what it is until it is not.
We may live to be 80 or we may get 8 seconds. None of us know when our time is up. Dream big, allow Christ to lead and grasp
on to all that is good and stop tolerating or settling to be second best, or
anything less than what he has called priceless.
So, everyone has thoughts and perspectives and if you are reading
anything on my page. Well, you know it
can go in any direction depending on the mind maze dump that falls out when the
windows of opportunity and blessing allow me to tap out. You do not have to believe, agree, or
disagree. In fact, if you are one of my
readers or viewers. Thank you. This day-to-day journal really should be
something no one sees. But a long time
ago I opened up and took the film off to be transparent to a point. Sure, there is much I do not say. There are many days I could call out every
single moment or soul that has made me feel a certain way or even how I feel
about them, what they do or had done.
But its all in the relevance we hold for what matters in the moment we
need it. And none of that is relevant
to anyone else but me and those I have been blessed to connect.
If something is not working change it.
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
And by all means if you are going to talk the talk then show up walking
it. Stop riding on the coattails of all
those you wish you could be, be like or have what they have without putting
your time, effort, creativity and even blood sweat into.
Own your own choices and results.
God helps those who believe.
God helps those who help themselves.
What does that mean. Using today’s
world events. I believe if we use all
this chaos and unknown about the pandemic, vaccines, and masks and all the
unrest it is causing and separation it has entitled the world to live.
Well use common sense. We can
get a virus being we are vaccinated or not.
Read up on the facts and make your own honest choices for you and those
you come in contact with. No matter if
you know them or not. No matter if they
are the love of your life or not. You
can make a difference in our future and humanity by what you do, what you say
and how you contribute next.
Although the governments and law will instill and take freedoms away for
what they think is the greater good, or just because they have the power. You alone get to think for yourself, get to
act for yourself and get to be yourself.
No one else will ever do that for you.
Even if you have convinced yourself otherwise.
You can poison many by one look, one touch, one sneeze, one attitude. You see the pandemic is not just influenza
or Covid19, 20, or 30.
Use common sense for you and those be it you know them or not around
you.
Your can heal with what you do and say next. My perspective is the world has been broken
long enough. So even if I cannot make a
difference for the world, maybe just one soul, one action, one word will plant
the seeds to grow a light and the rains that come will cause the ripple effect
of growth. My light, my hope, my
peace, my strength come from all I will never fully understand with great freedom
to hope and try to be my best self and love with all I am even when it
hurts. For a glimpse of heaven on earth
in waiting for eternity with all the power, glory, and beauty that no one will
ever be able to clone, create or crush.
My prayers of healing and positive growth for all I am connected. Blessings then, now, and always. Just me Kelly
Lord even when I am doing my best but still talk the talk and miss the
mark. May I and all I am connected be
more like you Jesus. May if even just a
figment of anyone’s imagination you spark life within. Show them the peace and all you are in your abundant
mercy and grace.
Thank you for this day and all that comes with it. Thank you for all of
my yesterdays and every single thing that lives in the depths of who you allow
me to be. Be the love, the healing,
the light for all that my path crosses with no matter where, no matter
when. Be all you are in the here and now.
