Isaiah 48:17 (TPT) The Passion Translation

17 This is what Yahweh, your Kinsman-Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:
“I am Yahweh, your God.   I am the One who teaches you how to succeed and who leads you step by step in the way you should go.

“A refreshed, revitalized mind is able to sort out what is important and what is not.  In its natural condition, your mind easily gets stuck on trivial matters.”

Psalm 46:10  “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Luke 10:39-42   She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.  But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made.  She came to him and asked, “Lord don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself?  Tell her to help!”  “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “ you are worried about many things, but only one thing is needed.  Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken from her.”

1 Corinthians 14:33 NKJV  For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all churches of saints.

I needed to read that a few times to really get the meaning  so here it is in different bible translations.

1 Corinthians 14:33 TPT 33 For God is the God of harmony, not confusion,[a] as is the pattern in all the churches of God’s holy believers.

1 Corinthians 14:33 MSG  26-33 So here’s what I want you to do. When you gather for worship, each one of you be prepared with something that will be useful for all: Sing a hymn, teach a lesson, tell a story, lead a prayer, provide an insight. If prayers are offered in tongues, two or three’s the limit, and then only if someone is present who can interpret what you’re saying. Otherwise, keep it between God and yourself. And no more than two or three speakers at a meeting, with the rest of you listening and taking it to heart. Take your turn, no one person taking over. Then each speaker gets a chance to say something special from God, and you all learn from each other. If you choose to speak, you’re also responsible for how and when you speak. When we worship the right way, God doesn’t stir us up into confusion; he brings us into harmony. This goes for all the churches—no exceptions…

Daily Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (Thinking out loud)

Lord I so need your physical and mental strength to fill this spirit today.   Thank you for the great message in study last night.   Thank you for allowing me the blessings of life.    Be with all I am connected for they are also connected to you.

May their hearts soften and purpose for who you really are in them, for them and with them.

On this long weekend coming up Jesus be with all who mourn the loss to sacrifice and sudden disaster.      Your will be done Jesus.

We ask for you to wake us up.   You are in the allowance of all that is happening.  May your will, your mercy, your grace.   Consume all I am and all I am connected.

Lord for the family with seven children who are going back to Lebanon for missions.    Be with them and all those putting their lives on the line to do your will and spread the gospel.

Lord for the ladies raised up in last nights group who were just diagnosed with breast cancer

Lord for all battling covid 19 or the variant.

Lord for our minds and hearts that are in such turmoil humanity is turning on itself.

Lord for all in the war zones set your people free from hate, save the innocence.

Lord for all the innocent, disabled men or women or children vulnerable and exploited across this nation and world.

Lord for the traveling mercies and strength for in the search and rescue of all caught in natures wrath.

Father God we know the universe is screaming loudly, show us what we need to do and be to purpose your will for a future.   Protect your soldiers and warriors Jesus.

The list of requests, the list of needs, the list of silent cries Lord you hear and know every single thing.  Heal this land Jesus, show us how, show us when, show us what!
