Micah 4:-5-4 – Life Application Study Bible
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has made this
promise! Though the nations around us
follow their idols. We will follow the Lord our God forever and ever.
Not sure why this
stuck with me today and touched me so early this morning where I left it open
on my desk to dive in further when coming back from service.
But it did; and
if I look into it from other views the only real thing is on days like today
where you go to step up and step out to serve the one who gives life knowing
you are never enough for the world or the performance that is being written.
It means; It is
not about you or about any of the nonsense and technicalities.
Even with the
biggest intention of serving the Lord when in his house serving with others as
one body takes clear communication and bending when you think you might break
remembering it is not about self but the Lord himself.
That in itself is
often a very hard pill to swallow at times.
But when you are a servant not for man but for the greater good you
remember and wait as you call upon the Lord to direct your steps and know soon
worship will be restored to all ends of the earth. And that which is being robbed of today will
come in abundance if we just hang in.

So, pushing
forward in peace, in harmony can be a struggle and if you are not grounded holding
tightly to your moral compass and know that there is more than just the here
and now, we become a mess and create or get caught up in messes.
Even when you work hard to remain obedience in Christ and not get caught
up, serve and love on people for who they are.
Stuff always ten-fold happens to just tweak situations and we at times
have to struggle to breathe through it and hold on to the worship and nourishment
you once received by serving that has all changed and your left hanging in the balance. You find the need to drop to your knees
and just cling on to God leading you where he wants you to be. In work, in life, in balance no matter how
good you are. Not everyone is going to
see with God’s heart or vision.
In fact, sometimes growing pains and learning what respect, loyalty and self-image
through God is something we all must strive for every day no matter what or
where we are.
It is just much harder when we are in a different generation to communicate
at various levels.
One thing is for sure in the end no matter what we allow to beat us up,
take us out or continue wrestling with.
God wins!!!
Chasing anything else or hanging on to what is continually being pulled
away from you only robs you from living.
Sometimes our master plan, plotting how the stars will need to be
aligned to have perfect anything even if we are not purposing it to seem that
is what we are doing. Only robs the
joyful heart and love that God has to offer and we receive, or we give others.
Somehow, we/I need to learn how to shake it off, shake it out and take
it all for that the temporal moments really are.
Carry me Father God! Lord knows
I am so off balance at times with all those scars that healed with a wall
bigger than any mountain to be climbed.
Self-preservation in is no longer the issue as what will be will
be. Yet just to exist does not work
either. Take me to the place that I
have purpose and am of most use. When I
cannot see it carry me there.
Thank you for the beautiful souls you allow me to be part of life
with. Hear the whimpers to sobs of
their hearts leaking out with all this injustice worldly things flying like
deadly objects robbing our moments and abilities to be our best selves.
Bring the mothers off the ventilator to know you and raise up their
children. Bring the fathers home to love
their wives like Christ calls for alone.
Brothers and sisters leaning in
on me and I on them. Removing all hate
and animosity for what we think it must be.
One day we will see the light but until then Jesus be with me. Be with all I am connected and show us the
way of your will and desire for any future there is to be left.
