Lord this heart is still beating even if, even when!
Each day we are allowed up we start by choosing to roll
with it or declare not today!
I choose all that feeds the spirit, the soul, the growth,
the dimmest light that feeds all that we will never see or understand.
That may look like strength to some, that may look like
crazy to others. However, until you
actually walk the walk and invite Jesus Christ into your life you will never
understand the deep gratitude and crazy unexplainable peace, courage, and strength
you are given.
We can plan all day long as a parent predicts and does everything,
they can align life for their child yet each one of us very early on choose
whatever we want.
Even when we do not think it through or are old enough to
know the results that are up ahead.
We live hard, play hard I won’t lie I have seen far too
much in this world and my time to not say we won’t die hard.
Beautiful friends and family lost because we all just
wanted to have fun in our youth or masked our pain in our adult life or both
just because.
Disregarding the change needed with our own choices we
cast shadow and blame on everything else around. Then one day we face the final choice of
what next.
There is no lukewarm or sitting on the fence and although
Grey is a nice neutral color for any room of your house. When it comes to making choices its black and
white no matter what tool you use to write it or live it out. We are not what the world says defines
us. We are what we choose today. Maybe that is why the world is so bipolar and
in the mess we are. Cancelling out all
that once was because we no longer like it or it doesn’t fit what we see today.
Good, bad, or indifferent gives lessons at every
level.
We do not have to live in be in the darkness of all that
goes wrong. We are not what goes
right. We are the choices we make daily,
but the choices lie in the if we choose to know the truth and become educated
in and created by.
God so loved the world and the creation he breathed to
life he gave his only son Jesus Christ.

Why it takes us so long or we allow ourselves to hit
beyond rock bottom before we are woke.
I wish I had those answers that could be bottled up and shared with
everyone.
Yet even though many do know they still choose and do
what they want to do. No matter if they
have the strength to know not to do so or they are just lost and overwhelmed.
I wish I could say I was perfect
I am perfectly placed and imperfect in everyway the world
can find to define me, or anything about me. Yet perfect in the design of who
God calls me to be in the creators’ eyes.
Just as everyone else given life in this universe.
Finding that balance of what to hold onto and what to let go. That balance of loving people from a
distance because life gets too prickly when we get up and close and hurts sometimes
really bad when they abuse the one thing you want from them and that is to just
be real.
The losses of a child or the pain in the misguided
decisions that are unhealthy well the pain is beyond our own self being.
I wonder if each time we believe we are not enough in
this world if its like the nails being pounded through Christ flesh over and over
again.
The pain is real, and we were all made for so much more.
Yet we miss the mark over and over when we choose to
settle. When we choose to let what
someone done to us or that something that happened to defy us.
Get back up, brush off and say thank you. None of us really have 24/7 for any length of
time what we purposed, planned, and expect.
We can plan all day and night long but, in the end, God
is in control. No matter for ourselves
or those who have our heart strings sometimes so knotted we cannot move and
breathe.
Hold on to hope and dig deep to find the faith in the God
who gives you life and for all those who trigger change and those little cuts
from the gashes of let down or deceit or even just not working out cause its
not what you thought you would recognize.
Know it is what it is until it is not.
Make it count and know your legacy is the good or bad you choose to feed
into this starving world.
I trust what has been written for centuries and pray with
all that I am that even if in the end I do not see the streets of gold. My soul is well here and now and everyone I
am allowed to be connected find that too.
No harm, no foul, no misgiving or taking from or to anyone in this
world.
Maybe I am a dreamer as my ex-husband would often and derogatorily
point out back in the day.
For sure when we have to hurt, harm, taking from others
just to feel good about who we are when we all are created in the image of Jesus
Christ and the God of the universe.
Well the issues are with them and not those who are feeling the elements
that make this world.
Choose your boundaries, choose wisely and if its not
working change it. Get up, brush off and
keep growing forward.
