awaiting. Go left, go right. Just go and make the best of whatever you
choose to do, to be!
Worn
Yes, we get so worn out
of and from this world. When even though
you never say it, you have those unspoken expectations of those within the
circles you spin to just be, and you can fill in the just to be blank …
Our human condition and
we are all human; even if sometimes the darkness keeps some so lost, they can
never again find themselves in humanity much less anyone from the outside
looking in.
Be it the hustle for 6
cents, 6 bucks, 600 or 60 thousand.
Even if it is one minute of time taken from a soul that you never had
really been present for anything more than just what you could selfishly
consume.
Reminded in a study
last night in the analogy where we are hosting a gathering and we invite friends,
family over yet we spend all our time cleaning or worrying about what
everything around them looks like or what they will think it should look like;
that we so often forget the relationships and why we were blessed to know them
or have them in the first place.
I will admit. I used to host allot and was always that one
that had to make sure the house was perfectly clean before anyone arrived right
down to washing the floors all the way through even if they were just done a
couple days before and they were not dirty.
Knowing when you would
have all that traffic, they would be a mess after, but something just drove me
to make sure I did it before anyone walked in.
That human condition
We all have something
that we do to measure up to whatever the situations we are creating.
Be it at the hands of others
or just those we create ourselves.
I will admit even
though I have mellowed and really try to be present with any gathering I am
part of at this season of life. I
still get pretty worn out from all that spins around and with me.
Maybe I have allowed my
heart to be too close and how it pains me for the hustle and slowly watching
others and the paths they are taken without Christ Jesus. Or even those who say they are believers and
walk the walk all the while they are living outside obedience. I really don’t have a right to judge and
trust me I try not to. But the proof is
in the pudding when truth reflects what is really going on.
Lies, cheating, drugs, thieving. Its all the same; be it you do it with or
to friends, family, or perfect strangers.
A lie is a lie no matter how many
ways you present it. We won’t even get
into the other stuff this world and many in it spin with.
If you want to screw
your life up and get caught up and feed your soul slowly to demons that is your
choice.
We all go through the
motions at times. Really excited, loving
to so depressed and unable to shake it off.
Many contributors drive either direction. But we get to choose if and when we will
allow our soul to rise above all that the world offers, gives, or takes.
We get to choose that
which we cannot see but know the elements and abundance is far greater than we
will ever be and that nothing in this world will ever compare to the peace that
Christ Jesus and knowing him and getting to know him every single day we are
allowed back up gives!
No matter what I will
rise until I cannot pull myself up one more time. I will always be me and try to do something. Be it training my own bad behavior of
enabling others into theirs. Be it
loving on people from a distance but never letting them into my heart
again. Knowing when the heart takes over. Well, we all know what happens when we drive
our steps from the heart and not from logic.
Much less when we allow our heart to say look past that truth and just
go with it. Well, we get what we
deserve if we allow ourselves to be that crazy in this world full of so many
harsh realities.
Temporary happiness for
what others can do for you in the moment you want it. Is just that temporary. That joy deep inside that connection, that
love, that honor and loyalty and that absolute where no expectations drive out all
that is good, all that is pure all that is filled with God’s intention to love
with mercy and grace.
What do I know?
Just a speck in the
wind. Thankful that no matter what I get
right or wrong. I am blessed each day to
get back up and work in obedience to honor the vessel He has given me to travel
in. To shake out the mind and make room
for all the new possibilities and flicker even the smallest flame of hope.
Working harder than I
should most days. Falling further down
than I ever have to when those closest to me
reveal their true selves. All the
while fighting with all we are to not be like anything or anyone else.
Life is what it is until
it is not.
I pray I learn more and
more each day to focus more on God than anything of this world. Good or bad. I pray for those going through it and the
storms inside are calmed. I pray for
all that I am connected for all the needs are met and spoken to each and ever soul
by Christ himself.
Wait, Yes, No it does
not matter what he says. As long as the
relationship and conversation is with every individual and not third party intercessory.
I can come out and
share dreams and visions. But until we
all stop and be still and hear Christ Jesus allowing him and his spirit to
dwell deep inside. Eternity is a long
way off and all that is temporary will always pile up to consume and rob us from
the promise boldly waiting on the other side of that mountains that stand
before us.
