Interesting how as a parent when
our children get older, we somethings beat ourselves up for the things they do
and wonder how that could be. That is
not how I raised them. Looking at today’s
verse of the day and my previous motivational reading before my feet even hit
the floor and it truly is a matter of the blessing and curse of freedom of choice;
we have all been given. Along with the
fact every choice matters.
We may not see the fruits of our
own labor as we journey through the abyss of this universe and the time we are given. And what
is that old phrase some of us have heard over time. You can lead your horse to water, but you
can never make it drink.
You can raise your children and
teach them about light and darkness, right or wrong, but even at a very young
age they will choose the path they want to go.
When we use excuses as to why we are doing things instead
of walking forward. When they use the
past as a crutch no matter how many blessing opportunities ahead are being ignored. All we can do is pray! Again, Laminin the cellular molecules that
hold our very DNA together to allow us to walk around created in the image of God.
So why do we not cling to Jesus and his strength, his
protection, his direction. Because the
curse of freedom of will kicks in taking over our thought capacity of how to
choose and most times we want what we want, when we want it no matter who it
hurts, if it destroys our own being or how temporal what it is we want really
is. In Bible.com the below verse spoke to
me this morning as did the odb.com message that is free and out there for
everyone with internet. Nope, not
advertising. Just useful tools to stay
tapped in wherever you go. Cause I know
myself if I am not spiritually fed every single day, and even sometimes
multiple times a day. I get distracted
and even though I know who Jesus is now, and how much he truly loves us. I get caught up in what I think should be
happening. I am far from perfect but everything
I am, is because of the blessing he has breathed life into me with and for.
I so wish it were true that our children would remember God
is for them throughout the journeys they are given. Yet sometimes they do not get the chance to
truly live the prodigal son or daughter path because of the darkness that
blocks their eyes from truly seeing the light up ahead or know how strong they really
are. Even how to fight forward calling
upon Jesus.
Which is a direct relationship between each and every one of us and Jesus directly.
All of us believe in something far greater than we will
ever get to understand. Yet we all just
keep doing life in the here and now.
And even when we do know how much we are loved and who we
belong to still cannot take the pressure all the time, or deal with that one
more thing.
What was my stressors this week. Suddenly my car gear shift bushing goes out
on my car and the dealer who will replace it for free cannot get me in for five
days; all the while there is Hurricane Idalia heading for me. What can I do.
Not to mention what about one of my heart strings
traveling around Europe, seeing the world by themselves.
Or how about another
getting up and leaving in the middle of the night riding around while the storm
is upon us. And no, it’s not just about
me. It is about life and the blessings
that we are given that we just cannot see even when others around us do so
clearly.
Oh, I could go on and on and give you reasons why I should
just run away. Or at least try and numb
the invisible pains that no one else sees.
I learned a long time ago; we never really know
people. Someone we know all our life can
show up and destroy all we ever believed or had. If we let it.
Never stop loving, never stop living. Just put others at sometimes more than arm’s
length and love from a distance and keep doing what shines bright. No matter who or what tries to overshadow
it.
I can tell you what its like as a child to trust adults
and how imperfect they are and if you are lucky before you know who Jesus is
and what God’s favor means.
I can tell you how getting caught up in that moment of
passion and giving away all that you are only to be beat down emotionally,
physically, verbally. Or even tossed
aside.
I can also tell you stories of despite all my best efforts
failing how the depth of love that Jesus has poured over and into me changed
everything.
I never chose to be where I am today. I just wanted to make it through.
I can tell you when I stepped up and stepped in that water
the final time. I can tell you the hunger
I had wanting to know more. I cannot
tell you when exactly it was just one day everything was different.
Or when that peace seeped in and now flows through these
veins even in the moments where it takes me time to really fall asleep; or even
when I fall asleep soundly, I am woke by others.
Passion never counts the cost; Scars come with Livin!
If there is one thing I would what the magical powers for
and that is to take every broken heart string I have ever been entangled and
see them healed and cling to the same peace, love, strength that Jesus is and
gives.
We all go through something, sometimes we are like that scratched
album and it is just stuck on repeat.
Take a minute, take a deep breath, and get back up brushing
off and keep growing forward.
I can assure you; it is hard. Especially for women. Think about it even back to the most ancient
times we were expected to be quiet and follow a man who in most cases never really
knew where they were going. Or they were
stuck on a power trip and forgot to finish reading the scriptures to love their
wives. And please do not think I am
anti men in anyway. Because we have women
in this world as well that think they deserve to be treated better than they
treat their spouses or partners. Just
working through a 12-week study on I& II Timothy and Titus and because my
journey has led me to be fully independent while growing through the pains of
my own hills and valleys since a little girl.
The old ways were so…. Well, I would have issues; I do now when anyone
tells me to do something or act somehow.
Ask me and I pretty much will give all I got. Tell me and that is so different. We get it so wrong so often.

We have to keep fighting the good fight as Paul writes to
the church years and years ago in 1 Timothy 1:1-20. And although we in humanity will get it all
twisted based on our own perspectives and thoughtful or thoughtless
choices. Faithfully, believing in all
that is good, all that is pure even when it hurts.
Allows us to remember Jesus took the pain long ago and poured
all that he was into all that we are. Circling up with others who believe in all
that God wants us to be and why, who Jesus is. Helps us strengthen and grow forward. And shine the light of Jesus. But we, each, and every one of us have the
ability to meet Jesus right where you are, and you do not need a building or others
to this. To help us understand and
really dive into the truth. Yes!
You, I; all of us are never alone. And if you want an answer, we must become
intimate with Jesus Christ first and always in every day.
Trust me I am no theologian, and I did not go to Bible
college. Although I have studied for
years of allot. I have learned if I don’t
understand, or it does not fit or feel right.
Go to the Bible and question it. Ask
questions to your spiritual leaders and if they cannot go to the Bible to show
us; or they force their opinions and what they have come up with on us. It is not God breathed.
There will be trouble in this world. Hold fast to all that Jesus gave himself
away for so we could be. So, we could
live. So, we could shine in harmony.
If you get to really know Jesus and you have that significant
other that is fighting forward with you.
It’s like having your cake and eat it too.
But if we are called for something else, we are not
alone. Don’t get caught up in the lie
we cannot do or be something because of anything.
May we open the eyes of our heart and allow the Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit dive deep into our souls.
Even when all our heart strings seem to be like a big ball of yarn so
tangled up and breaking one by one. May
we know the depths of our creation and who the glue of it all is that hold us
together.
To be loved on the outside as deep as the depths of all
Christ is and ever will be. Yeah, I can imagine. But no one person, place or thing will ever
do and be lasting. It is every single
second we are allowed to travel this universe and all that goes with it.
It is very hard when others try reaching out wanting to
chat, wanting to connect. Man, I am
sorry but I am not. I want more than
5 minutes or 15 of pleasure, of what will be temporal. I want it all to the depths and the bone of
bone, washing and flowing through the veins of all that only the love of all
creation can be.
We are owed nothing, and we absolutely should always be
kind, considerate, caring. Even if we do
it from a distance. Stop the madness of expectations and love
people for who they are. Right here
right now. Appreciate their gifts and talents
if they make you smile. But truly love
me for me and I will love you for you.
Father of all creation thank you for all you have been and
all that you are. Thank you for allowing
me another day in this uncertain world.
Uncertain for me and all that tug on these heart strings. I wish
I could always have the ability to never ask for anything; yet you know all the
hurts, habits, and hangups of all that make this heart ache at times. Be with them all Jesus. Heal, shine bright and give them the strength
and courage to get back up in you.
So much illness, brokenness and lostness because we put
all that we are in all that is temporary and never enough into the blessings of
who gives it to us.
Lead me and all I am connected in and through the healing
process, through the fires into you Jesus.
Thank you for the very air I am given to exhale.
