Prayers (Thinking out
loud)
As I am starting
this day shuffling memories to locations that others may enjoy, and I open the
browser to start my journey of all I muddle through. Seeing the devastation from the flooding in Europe
and feeling the pain and sorrow for so much loss. Knowing personally everything is temporal
in this journey. Yet, wondering how much
great loss has really occurred outside of just materialism that we build up to
sustain us. Gone in a blink of a wind or
too much water or even at the choices of mankind.
Jesus is my only
hope that with all that spins around the globe or even under the shelter I have
been blessed with. Hope and reason to
get back up.
As I wonder when we
will become unified and not just in tragedy, not just for personal feelings or
selfish ambitions. To really come
together and not just in need but all the time without judgement. So
quick to judge; especially when others are try to be a light in such a dark
world.
We are all broken
people, all falling short from the glory of God and no we should never look the
other way. But we are to love everyone
for who they are not what they have done.
Yes, we are called to bring attention
to those faltering off the obedient path especially when they are in danger or
a danger to others.
But can we not look
around and see we are not long for this world; and instead of finding faults or
pointing out all the issues. Can we not
start being part of the resolution and helping the growth for whatever time we
have left?
I am far from
perfect and yes maybe I should not rub elbows with those playing in the
sandbox. But how in the world will we
ever be a light to the darkness if we do not get in walk with the least of
these. And by the way who ever gave the
right to call anyone less than another?
Judgement belongs
to God, and we are called to go the distance for all that is good, all that is pure,
all that is to grow in the light.
We need healing
this nation, this earth is being washed away.
And life as we know it is gone in 60 seconds or less. Can we wake up and realize just because we
do not feel the pain or have not sinned the way someone else has. We have still had our own broken pieces that
have cut someone. We all have demons
we are battling, and skeletons in our closets.
Stop judging in
condemnation and stop pointing out the faults of everyone you disagree
with. Start planting seeds of life and
share ideas and actions of resolution.
Be there all the time
not just picking and choosing the right fit for how someone looks, speaks or
even may be doing as they are planting their own seeds.
I have been through
allot in my lifetime and I am sure there is more to come. But that does not make me any better or worse
than the next person. If something
should not be although I may know the person, although I may say something to
them. I personally just remove myself
from the equation. And I pray for the
situation and for them.
I have no time to play
with anything I cannot make a different or control. And being control is an illusion. I try to just keep moving.
Anyway. Loss for you, for me for everyone around this
globe is great and it is only going to continue to grow in numbers. So why are we so hell bent on what is
temporal and what is out to bring attention to all that is wrong; why are we
all not coming together and trying to make a difference and make things better,
change things to something that is right.
Why are we at least not trying?
Be it trying to
lead small grow groups in hope and spirit to political agendas.
Lord the losses are
greater by the moments; but you know this long before we do.
Please stop this
madness and show us what it means to be unified in your love, mercy, and grace.
We need healing far
beyond a hospital stay or brokenness of our choices. The only way we will survive is digging
deep in faith and holding that rope of hope and for me that means all that
Jesus is, was, will be. I know my role
and where I stand, and I am far from perfect but trying my best to just keep
growing forward and taking anyone or everyone with me that is trying to grow in
his kingdom with me.
Jesus forgive me,
forgive us for what we make it. May we
all come to know you before we meet face to face. May we all in unity always be ready to lift
others up and not add to the storm damage that will eventually impact everyone
in this life as we know it.
Heal and guide all
that I am connected, in spirit, works, deed, or just day-to-day choices. Give me the will and the means to not go on
defense but truly dive in and speak as you would speak and reflect without
disregard or furry. Better yet, Jesus
just show up and speak, lead and reflect all you are through me.

“I am nearer than you think, richly present in all your moments. However, you may sometimes feel alone because
your union with Me is invisible. Ask Me
to open your eyes so that you can find Me everywhere”
Psalm 90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing
love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Acts 17:27-28 God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for
him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. “For in him we live and move and have our
being.” As some of your own poets have
sad, “We ar his offspring.”
Hebrews 11:1 AMP Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation,
the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do
not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what
is not revealed to the senses].
