Lord as long as
this heart keeps beating, keep working to change me. Thank you for this day; although I wish it
came up all cherries or roses or even both.
Diving in eating that sweet chocolate all the while we get to breathe in
the beauty and sweet aroma of those flower beds.
Instead, it’s a season
of thorns all around me and if it ever quiets any time soon, I just pray those
going through it are still next to me holding on to you and being changed with a
whole lot of heart connection to you and the will and spirit fire that matters.
Praying knowing
where I have been, not knowing where this journey will end up but with
you. Just praying I can withstand the
tests of time and all the layers of the organized chaos life throws at us. One friend on the mend, a child still very
sick in the hospital, a child needing their parents and a very demanding world
and all that we must do to reflect that presentation is everything when you carry
the weight of everything more than others.
Fill me up Lord and
as you have done before do it again and again as these walls have not yet come
down as I pass through. Protect, and guide all that I am from what is
not your will.
Change is in the
air; I serve, I worship, I serve, and I thrive. Yet on those days when so much negativity
and selfish performance and pride sneaks in all around and I really do not get
the time to vibe with you to hear your direction. I can only say no matter the valley or the
mountain you are and always will be what sustains all I can be.
Your promise still
stands Jesus!!!! I am and always will
be in your hands. So even when I am
challenged you won’t fail me.
Be with all that
runs in my bloodline. Be with all my
connections that are more than just acquaintances or some pretentious game some
try to play. It is what it is until it
is not. I have no time for game then,
or now. Move the mountains Jesus;
show me the way I am to take. That those
in need that I live and breathe wanting so much of the best for. Make that way for all of them too. Family first yes. Friends and those like family and those yet
to come.
I am safe in you
Jesus. Maybe somedays I find it funny
how many who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk allow me to be safe in your
arms. While others try to while they do
not realize; be I live or die…You are the greatest chess master of all and you
will never forsake your children, your chosen.
None of us perfect.
All of us have our judgmental
perceptions and ideology.
How many of us will
ever really put it use to help bring light and life to your world?
As I imagine you
are looking at my heart as I am tapping out all the while knowing there are so
many broken worldly pieces that need those thorns buffed out and filled with
your love and mercy. Not just mine but
how to react to all those you allow me to engage.
We can all find
some dirt on anyone and everyone. We can
all find better ways, so we think. But
when we plant are leaving the weeds that strangle out all that heals and brings
beauty; or are we just going full force and enjoying the ripples we create.
All the while every
single soul is going through something, coming out of something or on their way
into something that will change them forever.
I so wish I could
change so much for me, for those I love dearest. For life itself. Imagine the world filled with babies and children’s
laughter. Imagine the beauty and innocence
of puppies and kittens. Imagine every
beautiful butterfly just bringing so much color, and the world. Imagine Gods creation of all the birds
singing beautiful harmonies reminding us not to worry for even they are cared
for.
May we never lose
hope. When we have or we have not really
found it in you Jesus. May we be washed
by your spirit and filled brighter and bolder to know even when it hurts, or we
will never understand we will still know it will be okay.
I so want that love like your thunder to consume everything and
everywhere I go to, through or with. No matter if I hurt myself physically on my
own doing or just at the hands of others.
No matter what consuming life from me or those I love. As lightening
shows its power and thunder shakes the earth. Consume everything and let us pour you out through
all we are.
You know every twisted knotted heart string playing out Lord. As I know this world and life are so full of
tests. Nothing happens without a reason
and maybe we are not here to find what those reasons are so much as we are to
learn and grow in the light. Even if we
chase trying to solve and get the answers we want to hear or justify.
Jesus my heart, my
hands and all that I am is wide open for those you see going through it that belong
to you. Through it all they are yours;
may they wake and know you are there.
So many prayers.
Unknown sickness
Emotional, physical
imbalance
Vision loss
Aches, pains, and
torment from things we cannot explain.
Traveling mercies, new
drivers, accidents, new walks and being detoured and derailed right into harm’s
way.
Jesus, you love us
through it all. Let every soul I am
connected feel your presence as you have allowed me!
You have my
attention; have your way now and always.
You are God!
