Breakthrough comes
we just have to pay attention for it to show up. And not have tunnel vision that it will look
or be one specific outcome. Jesus
will never just let us suffer or sit without showing up and leading us to what
we need to be putting our effort and truth into.
Yes, that is a
tough pill for many; because we all think we are so damn good and never do
anything wrong. We are good with no sin on our sleeves.
Yet we all have
demons in our closets with a story and a name.
Be it we are really good at hiding and bury them or we are still living
them as we walk out of the sight of man we are still living to self and not
truly believing God will turn it around and dying to self and inviting Christ
to live within in us and then we ourselves doing our very best in obedience and
truth to him living.
That does not mean
we will not fall short. But we will
find ourselves worried about us and not everyone else’s business. We will truly want to help when we are asked
to help and not just be involved because it gives some sort of status or
something to hold over someone.
Judgement comes
fast and furious every day we are given.
But it is the wrath of God’s judgement you really should be more
concerned with.
Seriously if you
could change one thing in your life that would change everything giving peace,
love, harmony, hope and a brighter today here and now; all the while you know
it will be eternal. Why would you not
want to?
This world is so
static filled with noise and temporal things that lead to a lifetime of hurt
and brokenness. Why if we say we care
do we not come in unity for more than a weekly service or clean up after tragedy?
We have so many
ways to teach us how to lie, steel, murder be it someone else or who we are and
we never really see it until we are too far gone. When we wonder why our adolescent children
know things that grown adults should only know.
Why wouldn’t they when we have adults playing children and living out
scripts on the big screen. Why wouldn’t
the world be a mess when we live life as it is portrayed in the movies and out
of magazines with what, and should be, look like, be like or even say.
What is wrong with
the family unit? If you find it please
ask them. Broken families with single parents depending
on perfect strangers to raise their children while they are working around the
clock just to have a roof over head and food on a table. What about those who are wealthy because
of their careers, and they hire others in to run their family. Even those who forget who they married and
get caught up with the help and break the commitment they made.
And even if that is
the case; neither party at the end stands true to the fight to the end to make
it work past all the broken pieces that cut deep and have them all bleeding out
everywhere.
Yes, in some cases
that commitment has to change to preserve life because of physical or mental
abuse where one or both have snapped.
But why is it we do
not fight for what is ever lasting and good with purity. That we are so eager to just quit and keep
hopping fences to the greener lawns all the while they miss how burned up and
dead they too are.
This mind maze this
morning. Shaking my head knowing the
truth is relevant to what you want to believe in this day and age. But knowing a leopard’s spots will never change. When it comes to people it does not matter if
you pour every ounce of your life into them.
They will be whatever they are choosing until they see, want and be the
change for themselves.
It does not matter
how much they lust or love their family, friends or even you. Only the truth sets them free when they
purpose and work hard in obedience themselves to gain it, and hold on to it for
themselves.
Even though we feel out of control, stuck in
the gutters that make it so hard to climb up and out just to live. To think through just enough and not too much. In Christ with Jesus, we will never
lose. No matter what that storm looks
like or how many sleepless nights we have with or without him. He will walk through the fire surrounding us
and filling us with all that is healing, peaceful, and fruitful.
So, what if it is not
the picture you paint in your mind. It
is far greater than anything we will ever be able to really fathom.
Train you mind looking
past what the world says must be. Dig
deep into who you are and were created to be.
Nope its not easy and even when you really fall in love with Jesus and do
your best the world and all that we are in it still at times gets the best of
us. But surrounding yourself with growing
forward in the fruits of the spirit and want something more than being stuck on
that infinite loop of going nowhere.
We never really know how free we are until we understand the mercy, and
grace that we do not deserve but we are blessed with each day we are allowed back
up.
Anyway, say, do be
who you are or think you want to be.
Just remember the cycle of life goes full circle and anything in the
dark always comes to the light and eventually the truth will either take you
our or set you free. For me it was the
Grace and Love of Jesus Christ found me.
Even it doesn’t stop me from being opinionated, excitable or judgmental. My faults are my own that I have to live
with as the demons in my head I have to give it to Christ to slay daily. If not knowing I will never be enough and the
doubt and static that screams from the world will numb me to really know just
how much gave up for me to truly live.
Some may get it; others not. But
really who cares. These bits and pieces
hopefully are my stained-glass window called life. As each day I am given I do my best to find
my identity in Christ Alone.

in prayer.
1Thessalonians 5:8 But since we belong in the day, let us be
self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of
salvation as a helmet.
Hebrews 6:18-19 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things
in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of hope
offered to us may be greatly encouraged.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the
curtain.
