As we are
unintentionally pick up those stones to cast judgement remember the flaws and
cracks in our own glass houses ready to shatter.
Every individual
has the right to choose, and the impact of their choices will speak for years to
come. Instead of adding to or being part
of wrongdoing or problems. Why not work
on lifting another sup or reflecting all the good that is…
One word can and
will destroy life for those who feel they have nothing worth living for. We do not have to like anyone to be
respectful or kind. Remember the cycle of
life that goes full circle, and the fact kindness matters.
I will be the first
to tell you although I am not the only one in this world that carries the
capital D in dysfunctional families. I
am reminded how often this world has seeped in and tattered and torn apart making
my family something other than what God intended it to be. Much like yours or maybe not at all. I know some get really offended when you compare
anything. Bottom line we all have
stories, we all do stuff that hurts or creates habits or even that which we give
reasons and/or excuses to others to act out or shut down towards the family
unit which was intended for love, respect, honor, and loyalty.
Yet biblically
speaking it does call out where children will fight and bring harm to parents
and fight amongst themselves. I do not
remember what scripture it is or exactly how it is phrased. But I guess what we go through today is no
different than Cain and Abel days.
Parents devouring
their children like they are nothing or just leaving them for the vultures of
the world to do so. Or children so disrespectful
and entitled they forget who they are.
What about the innocence
trying to grow and being destroyed before it ever gets the opportunity to blossom?
Heart breaking that
one word or action can make or break a life.
Yet selfish ambitions has the world spinning in lies and narcissistic
ways and nothing really matters as long as the pointer is not at us and even
when our own wrongdoing proves it should be.
We get to blame and lay excuses as to why something should not be our
fault. Even if, even though we are the
one who reacted or did not when we should have.
Heart breaking to
what those with such great hearts that really want and try and put their all
into life get chipped away allowing the choices they make to have them think
they are done and stuck. When the
truth is as long as you are allowed back up another day; you have the ability
to keep fighting and growing forward.
One thing is for
sure. No matter if you came from a great
loving family or none and grew on your own.
Your choices are your own responsibilities. Unless someone is holding a gun to your head
and even then, you get to choose.
If your own bad
behavior is surrounded by your excuses that its because of how you are or were raised and you choose
bad decisions and lifestyles. That is
on you period!
Once you are no
longer a baby and you start thinking and doing on your own free will that you
were given. That’s on you. And it is never too late to do the right
thing even if you make a mess along the way.
So, stop being hateful, mean, nasty or down casting judgment on anyone.
We have to fight
our demons and seek help not masks. We
have to stop using what we feel as excuses to lash out at everyone and anyone.
God knows I have
made my share of abundant wrong choices and mistakes. It is so heartbreaking to see someone so
down on themselves they cannot reflect the beauty they really. Or that people find it necessary to take everything
so damn personal when they do not get the response they want, and they turn
hateful and hurtful.
It is said enough we
have a world of professional pretenders but when we watch loved one’s think
they got it covered and going in a wrong direction, yet they will not follow
the signs to turn around and you watch them slowly crumble.
One thing is for
sure there is a huge chance on any given day you are going to take off running
and end up in the wrong direction, at the wrong place, in the wrong I didn’t
ask for it, situation.
Just like falling
down. Get back up, turn around, dust
off and keep fighting forward for all that is good that you can be, grasp, and
do. Not what everyone else casts
judgement for and they will believe me.
I watch my own
family not my huge capital D family I
grew up in but even my own immediate cast judgement quick and easy and
depending on where I am sometimes without intention I do as well.
Just don’t give up
or give in to the ways of the world. Dare
to be your authentic self! No pretending
necessary. Love who you are and make
the best with what you have to work with.
Not that which you may find yourself wanting, taking, stealing, or thinking
your collection is what will sustain you.
Because it does not and will not.
Change your mind,
change your ways seek redemption and restitution for all you may have done in
harming others. Seek forgiveness even
if they do not give it when you have wronged or hurt others. From the depths in truth release your
soul to Christ and know if He allowed you back up this day. You have purpose through all things including
the pain you do not understand. Call upon the Lord to show you the way.
It starts with you,
and It starts with me.
