The more I hide or
hop off the reels you come and find me.
Thank you, Jesus, for never letting me go. I would be lying if I did not admit the love
wanted, love lost, love those spins sometimes in this mind maze. Yet the truth will always remain Your Love
never runs out of breath to give me; never lets me go hope in the darkness, and
never stops doing whatever it takes to get my attention.
No doubt I can easily
walk up on those I once believed were on the same path, want and needs as I;
and just wish them well. For the truth hurts,
but over time in you Christ healing is beyond words. Even if sometimes I forget the warning to keep
my hands and feet within the ride and leave myself hanging out on a ledge
looking around thinking and wanting to know what it would be like to have it
all.
You have my
attention and thankfully so that you allow me to get back up and keep seeking
the hero of my heart, lover of my soul and to know one day! For this I will do whatever it takes to never
let you go.
Make me whole
Jesus. With or without never let me go
and keep showing me who I am in you.
As I just open the
door to my discomfort, uncertainty, need for you is beyond anything I can ever
deny. Coming to the table far more than
social hospitality. But to really get to
know life of my own, and others you bless in my path.
So far from where I
was, so far to go. Yet forever knowing I
will always go the distance with you above me, beside me, within me. With you Christ Jesus all things are
possible. No words, no deeds, no empty promises,
or human mountains being moved by all that is temporal and gets our attention. It is, it was, it always will be what you
alone allow to pass from your hands to each beat of our hearts Lord. You Abba, Father God…
Use all I will ever
be, all I will ever connect. Through the
messiness bring truth and shine bright in healing, love, and life ever eternal. You hear our souls Lord. You are the very breath that allows us to
be. May we bring it all to you and
learn to open those doors for the least of what we think we are, or what we
think we should deserve.
It is not about the
platform we stand on, or the talents or tools you allow us to use to grow. It is the depths of love and passion beyond
any 1minute to win it or 60 minutes of fame.
We all get our 15 if we ourselves recognize when it’s our turn.
What we do with all
of what you bless us with leads to life and death. For our own souls, for so many we will be
blessed to cross paths in the journey or even be connected. Thank You!
Shelter me from the
war that rages within. Shelter all I am,
all I connect, all I love in you God.
My transparency not
even begin to read this heart and want for all protection, healing, guidance for
everything I am. Family, Friends, Acquaintances,
My deepest desire, or most ridiculously silly moments in time. Take it all Lord anything and everything I
am connected.
For just one moment
in eternity to see you face to face and forever know what truth and the worth
of fighting forward to hold that moral compass every moment you allow me to be
here.
Truth is what we
make it when we show up and fight forward.
Many will never come out of the shadows, while others will fight forward
and go through the realness of what life is here and now.
But all at some
point will have to face the demons that lie, doubt, and destruction robs all
they are given.
Lord come
Take all the sadness
away.
Take the sickness
away.
Magnify the streets
of gold when our souls openly need and want you Jesus.
Shine bright in
love, honor, respect, and passion that you Christ reflect.
You have already
won the war Jesus; even if we still get caught up in battles that do not have
to be. Life, however, has never been promised
to be easy or free. There is a cost to
live even if you paid the ultimate price.
We are still called in humanity to pick up your cross daily and be our
best selves without harm or contempt, hate or judgement towards anyone. That alone is so hard. Yet fitting all the pieces together and imagining
that giant canvas complete. No, I
really do not know if I will get to see you face to face and if I did. What would I really do? I can only imagine.
All the while I
keep dreaming and living and trying not to get lost in the blurred lines here
and now. Lost in the whispers I wish, want,
and even chase after for truth. Only to
find the road leads back to you while I help ignite some along the way. I slowly lose myself afraid of fading before
every really knowing.
Yet, that is what it
is all about isn’t it. In the world,
those who die with the most toys wins to watch from the other side as everything
they wasted life on is tossed to the street for the dumpster divers and those
seeking treasures from others trash are picked over and left to nothing. We cannot take any of it with us; just the
truth, or the secrets that God already knows even if we do our best to pretend
and sidestep what will not matter.
It is time for us
all to take a stand in the light or in the dark. For truth to let go what we have lost or
hold tight for what we fight for the better.
But all time in and
with you Jesus to shine brighter than ever before.
Show me and all I
am connected how, when, and where. The
why is you alone!
In our darkest hour
may we know you are with us Father God.
May we never let go of your promise!
