Colossians 1:28 (TPT) The Passion Translation 28–29 Christ is our message! We preach to awaken hearts and bring
every person into the full understanding of truth. It has become my inspiration
and passion in ministry to labor with a tireless intensity, with his power
flowing through me, to present to every believer the revelation of being his
perfect one in Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:28 (MSG) The Message 26-29 This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but
now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich
and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless
of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is
in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that
simple. That is the substance of our Message. We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We
teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to
maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That’s what
I’m working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the
energy God so generously gives me.

“My Law of My Spirit of Life has set you
free from the law of sin and death.”
Isaiah 61:10 I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul
rejoices in my God. For he has clothed
me in garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, and as a
bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Romans 8:1-2 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for
those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the
Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Prayers (Thinking out
loud)
Yes, Lord there is not a moment I could ever deny that I do not need
you. More today than yesterday; more yesterday than the day before. Undeserving, unwavering fighting forward or
trying to.
Only you know what next as I find myself thinking change is
needed, change is required, change is here.
Everything can be such a blur like taking that new medication and waking
in a fog.
Take me Jesus where milk and honey flow freely washing me
clean in the blood of Christ Jesus.
As the flood waters of life bring in the gators and wolves sit
high in the trees waiting to jump onto the prey that awaits unsuspectingly. Your voice calls to those who hears to look
up and freely get out of that boat in faith, in truth.
The traps of the world will have nothing on you Jesus. For you are, you have been and always will be
King of Kings, creator of all things.
Worthy of all things in pleasure, in pain, in the sunlight or
the pouring rains. Wash me clean Jesus
give me who you want me to be. Guide my
steps, guide what comes from these lips, guard what these eyes are allowed to
see. I am always me. Falling short lifted high face down at the
foot of the cross where it all started or wishing it was me washing your feet.
Jesus you are you always will be.
Nothing in the here and now can take that away.
Heal all that is part of me, sons, daughters, nieces,
nephews, children, aging all I am connected please. For this day though free so heavy from these
earthly chains. So much unknown that
humanity allows to cause so much pain.
Needing you is more than what it seems to be; yet you know
all things as without you we would not be.
Thank you for it all.
May your will be done, and my strength be yours no matter what has been
or what precedes. More than rhymes, rhythms,
or day to day that we all walk through saying life is or is not just fine. Deeper, wider, higher. We need you now Jesus. I need you now.
I can change my hair, my looks, my style, my body, my everything
outside in. But nothing changes the fact
who is in control from beginning to end.
Nothing can change my heart and soul and need for you Jesus every day I
am given.
