Romans 3:23 (TPT) The Passion Translation

23 for we all have sinned and are in need of the glory of God

Psalm 130:3  (TPT) The Passion Translation

Lord, if you measured us and marked us with our sins, who would ever have their prayers answered?

Ecclesiastes 7:20  (MSG) The Message

Isaiah 38:17  (TPT) The Passion Translation

17 Truly, it was for my own good that I had this bitter experience.
For you loved my soul out of the pit of oblivion.  You cast all my sins behind your back.
Isaiah 43:25  (TPT) The Passion Translation

25 I, yes I, am the One and Only,[a]    who completely erases your sins, never to be seen again.

Colossians 2:13-15 (TPT) The Passion Translation

13 This “realm of death” describes our former state, for we were held in sin’s grasp.[a] But now, we’ve been resurrected out of that “realm of death” never to return, for we are forever alive and forgiven of all our sins!

14 He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained[b] soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam[c] has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation.

15 Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power[d] to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his![e]

Daily Journal/Thoughts/ Prayers (Thinking out loud)

Thank you, Lord, for another new day.   Although yesterday was a blur.  Exhausted by mid-day barely able to keep my head up.   Thinking I would go in after work and just take a power  nap and not getting back up until this morning.       Our bodies tell us when we need to shut down.  If we are lucky and paying attention, we listen to the signs.

When the noise of the world be it good or bad intentions just becomes that constant static; it is time to step back and nourish the very beings you gave us to be good stewards of.

Some days, any days, or many days our physical conditions could feel out of balance.   With what we have been doing, what we forgot to do or just doing too much of one thing or not enough of something else.    The demands on our day-to-day can seem far greater than what we have inside of us to talk about, write about, or want to care about.

Leaning in on you and your strength, courage, and wisdom that you infuse into our very beings when we believe and  take time.    Is a matter of life to the world, or life in you?

Today leaning in on so much of your word Lord, reveals a great deal of hope, energy, and even greater peace within.    Allowing you to use the confusion we all at times carry within.

It does not matter how we got here.   It does not matter why it is happening.  God is in control even when we feel we are not.  Even more so when we think we are.    He is and always has been and will be still in control.

Be it we walk and talk with you daily or we don’t believe and go about our days beating our way through and allowing each day to take bits and pieces it chips off.

Truth is even when we walk every day with Jesus at the forefront.   The world can still pieces that we never thought or knew existed.   Standing firm, in faith believing no matter what in the cows that jump over the moon, in Jesus Christ, in Roger Rabbit.   What you believe is your own choice.   But the fact is we were all created in the image of God, who sent his son down in man form to show us.   We all are worth more than the 900$ Rolex and I know I am far off when it comes to real pricing, but you get the idea.  Those 400$ kicks we are wearing on our feet that a sudden storm comes, and they are ruined if we are stuck in the floods or worse yet that warehouse full of collectibles because we could was carried away in a cyclone, or tornado.

I am reminded of an old funeral joke where the husband who is very wealthy makes his wife promise when he dies, he takes all his wealth with him.   The wife promises to make sure it happens.   When the man dies the wife writes a check for everything he has in the bank and puts it in the coffin with him.   She lived up to her promise, I guess.   Even if she kept the bank account and lived however many days after.    He got his check even if it no longer mattered and the truth was, he like any of us cannot take any of it with us.

Yet our child like selfish ambitions and greedy actions want it all right up until we are gone and if we are looking up or down to see what is going on now that we are no longer here.  We see perfect strangers picking through what we thought was so important.   Or worse yet those beloved family members fighting over what they never worked for.

Crazy

But truth!

Getting caught up in the here and now and letting circumstance rip us apart while fighting to have that fix of Prada, Gucci Hilfiger, or Rolex watching on the news back in the day kids being jumped and beat down on the way to school while other kids rob them of their Air Jordan's.

It is not surprise to God or biblical times. Matthew 6:19 (MSG) A Life of God-Worship

19-21 “Don’t hoard treasure down here where it gets eaten by moths and corroded by rust or—worse!—stolen by burglars. Stockpile treasure in heaven, where it’s safe from moth and rust and burglars. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.

Yet we all miss it even when it is all over the news or in our neighborhoods.   Watching what should be important helping one another in life with even the basics.   We hide away like no one can see all the while someone is always waiting and watching to see what they can get.

But I am neither an expert or God to direct anyone’s steps or thoughts for that matter.  I myself still get excited of beautiful things and admire far too many people and places for what they do or have.

When all the while I too instead of working so hard a times I cannot stand up straight doing things to maintain and improve the things given to me.    I forget to live life and rest in Him as we all are called to do.

I am beyond thankful for the moments that God allows me to shut everything down and go take that 10-hour power nap.

When you find yourself hearing the static of the world getting louder and louder, when you have no more energy left because of constant running or even the choices you thought were going to be something greater on the other side; only to realize your vision and the end results are far from connected.

When you find yourself discouraged and depleted and just wanting to quit everything because you have allowed your visions and beliefs to get mucked up but everything and everyone around you.    Remember to just rest in Christ.   Remember to know to whom you were created and to whom you belong.   And to rest in all that He is and always will be.

Take that power nap, be it ten minutes or ten hours.    Stop chasing the what if I do it this way, what if I do it that way.  Stop giving in to doubt what if it turns out some other way.

Start asking what do you want me to do with what you have given me today, Lord?

Seek direction for the here and now and let go of what was.   Nothing is ever wasted.   Those people who hurt you, those you have hurt.     Get up, grow forward and if you feel you cannot grow fight with Gods army of angels in person or spirit until you reach the destination you can breathe again.     Rest always in the one who created you.

Don’t listen to me or anyone else that has not truly walked the walk and lives up to the talk they make so much noise with.    Including me.

WE ALL get to choose.    Rest well and know everything has a time and purpose and not just for the world to have one more soul to kick around or steal from.     Your beauty shines bright your colors are brilliant.     Make your dreams bold, and real through the one that gives you the very life and sight to imagine.
