Thinking Out Loud – Journal Thoughts/Prayers / Mind Maze Overflow
We all at some point struggle in life and
forget if we even know who we belong to and who to turn to.
It is hard not to chase what
the world says we are defined by.
I am a Mother, Businessperson,
once wife, always Sister, Aunt, Grandmother etc...
If we are blessed enough to know we forget
that we are truly defined by God and the beauty and unique beings every living
soul is called to be.
All the brains, talent, wit, or anything we
can do or collect are just bonuses, especially if we recognize we have any one
of them.
Yet from my own experience we lose ourselves
to the world forgetting to take time with God through his son Jesus and just
let him work in and through us.
Instead, we keep chasing what seems to be more
yet no matter how much we have we are left empty and unfulfilled.
Man, if I only knew then what I know
now. And the thing is I have to believe it is my own faith and daily walk
no matter how messed up I make or do things. That I am as you are a child
of God.
Everything we have, everything we have been
gifted is just on loan to us as it all belongs to Jesus.
So, we do our best with what we are given to
work with and leave the rest up to him.
We are all defined by something greater than
any labels.
We all have greater purpose in courage, strength,
and the beauty we are adorned with naturally. Even when we do not see it.
We cannot change anyone else and half the time
we cannot change our own being.
Which is why no matter where we are when
we are. We always call upon our creator to walk, run, just be with us.
When we believe and we all believe in
something!
We have purpose but we all have to purpose
every day no matter what direction we are going. Pushing forward owning it and being the best
versions of who we are no matter what the outcome.
We cannot chase all that is temporal and think
we will be filled up with peace and harmony for more than a minute in our time
but a split second in the eyes of the creator.
Keeping it real from my minds eye and if I am wrong,
it is only my peace that was gained while all others find whatever it is filling
them up.
Life is too short, and the world is too
vicious to allow gravity to hold me down in what eventually spins us out of
control.
The freedom and will he has given us in the unique
creation every single one of us were and are allowed to be.
All in the image of God and the cross that
shed so much death just so a thing called humanity would have a chance to
really live.
The greatest love story ever is when we lock eyes
with you Jesus! Even if we cannot
physically hold you and show you off to all those, we have been blessed in the
sense of the world can prove instantly.
To have your love from the outside world in is
to share the love you have within inside out. If only I could pain the picture or fill everyone,
I connect with the vibes you send electrify these veins with on any given day. Beyond passion, the compassion shining boldly
to see with your eyes; to believe in the depths of our souls.
You are the keeper of all things. Taking the pain through all the beauty and
ashes rebuilding one breath at time.
If only then you remind me that it is not my place.
Not to change or try to fix or do anything more
but live the life I have been given knowing who controls the air that flows
through these lungs.
We will all go down but those who believe in
you are forever through eternity flying high.
May we stop waiting on the
world to change and start changing who we are in what we believe. Shining bright and stop picking and pointing
the faults and misfortunes of others.
May we believe who we are
created to be. Not for power or control
but for life itself.
Jesus here all that silent
prayer that the many cannot step out in faith and just ask someone to pray for
them.
May we have your strength and
will Father God. For all that is good
and more than just surviving. May we
live and be the reflection of hope every day we get back up.
For all who are struggling to
know what defines them. As I am not defined
by this world.
Sometimes saying nothing at
all is what it should be. However, may
we never dig deep and truly call upon the powers that be to be our eyes, our strength,
our courage, our wisdom, as it fills our lights to shine brighter and brighter.
Teach us how to be soldiers
in the army of all that is good. Pour
over Jesus pour over all that is lost in the spin of darkness shaking off the
demons that we allow to entrap our minds, our spirits. May we be the one in unity of you Jesus?

day. Shelter your children Jesus.
